Great propery. Easy to walk to all shops and restaurants right in the center of town. Staff on property so friendly and so accommodating. Clean and modern rooms. Quiet too. Breakfast had a nice assortment. Thank you for a great stay we will come back again.

Great location close to Old Monterey (Alvarado Street, etc, Fisherman's Wharf). Good sized rooms. Good continental breakfast. It's a motor inn, so room open up to the outside. Free parking. Would have been nice to have ev charging.,though.

What a hidden gem and just a few blocks from the free trolley and the wharf. Super peaceful location with an off the beaten path feel from the tourist corridor. Excellent location with access to a ton of local restaurants and attractions. Well kept property.

The Inn is Extremely Clean, everywhere we went from Lobby Ck-in, our room, bathroom, breakfast area, and outside area. The staff were all Great, especially Ellen at front desk, she was professional & personable. The Inn is older & outdated but the extreme cleanliness makes it feel good & nostalgic. Great price & included a good breakfast each morning. We are definitely returning, great location near enough to walk to everything.

We had a great stay at Colton Inn. The location was excellent and very convenient for visiting local attractions around Monterey. There was plenty of parking available, which made everything much easier, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was spacious with two comfortable queen beds, and the breakfast was a real highlight with plenty of food options to choose from. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Monterey.

This is my second time staying at the Colton Inn on a visit to Monterey. For me, it was important that it's located close to the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, but it's also within walking distance of lots of downtown/Old Monterey locations, including a drug store, Trader Joe's, cafes and restaurants, and the water front. Staff are always extremely helpful, I enjoy the breakfast (love that they have hard boiled eggs!), and always have a great stay here.
