This resort actually lives up to it's name, Excellence. We're already planning our next trip to return. Food, pool, amenities were great but the staff was absolutely amazing. Felicia, Brandon, Syan, all went above what we expected. It was an excellent stay at an Excellence Resort.

The club level upgrade we experienced made the visit to this property all this difference to our stay. Without the upgrade, (the exception was the buffet breakfast which was amazing with the extensive selection choices) the restaurant experience and food quality would definitely have not met our expectations.

Everything was beautiful and clean. The food was really good. We truly enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is that every restaurant wasn’t open everyday and that the restaurants close at 4pm which was usually the time we would return from excursions and be hungry. Thank God for room service!

The property itself is very beautiful! The staff around the resort was absolutely amazing and so kind. The resort itself seems dated and could use better cleaning in certain parts. We have stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres and found that, that property is in better condition and does not feel so dated. I think most of that dated feeling comes from the cleanliness. We did love the drinks and the activities around the pool.
