Vacations Close To Ta'Kola Windmill

I’ve just returned from a week-long stay and, overall, we had a lovely time. The hotel is very modern, and the rooftop pool was a highlight. We spent many days up there and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was good; there wasn’t a huge amount of choice, but we always found something we liked. There were, however, a few things that could have been better. The plugs either side of the bed didn’t really work, and our air-conditioning unit was leaking water. We were also given an accessible room, but unfortunately the shower head wouldn’t stay up, so it wasn’t the most relaxing shower. We had to ask for the shower gel and soap to be refilled, and even when we returned around 3–4pm, our room still hadn’t been cleaned. On our final day, we experienced numerous power cuts and weren’t given much information, only finding out what was happening after going to reception to ask. The rooftop pool was lovely, although the bar doesn’t open until around 1–2pm. Naturally, we bought water and snacks to take up before it opened. Once it did open, the staff were a little abrupt when we touched a bottle of water, telling us we couldn’t drink it. I found this slightly rude, as I would have ordered drinks from the bar if it had opened earlier. The location is perfect, around a 10-minute walk to the waterfront, restaurants and ferry port, with a bus stop very close by. Overall, we had a lovely stay and the hotel has a lot going for it.

A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

The staff at the Concierge desk was great but that's where it ended. Check in room almost an hour. A cruise ship we came in on all departed at the same time and the most of the passengers all succeed at the and Unfortunately there is a lot wrong with this property. The rooms

We had a really good stay at Palazzo Rosaria. The room was spacious, with a genuinely comfortable big bed, and the bed for our son was practical and comfortable too. Air conditioning worked well throughout, and there was always ample water available. Breakfast was a highlight — fresh, well balanced, with eggs, cold meats, cooked options, and something for everyone. The room was clean, and the staff were consistently friendly. One small note: the shower tray looked like it might be leaking. It didn’t cause us any real problems, but worth the hotel checking it before it damages the property — I did flag it to staff and they said they’d look into it. Nice touches too: bathrobes provided, and swans made from towels left on the bed when we arrived, a lovely welcome. The location in Valletta is excellent, right in the heart of everything. They also kept our bags for us after check-out, which was a great help. Overall, a genuinely great experience and we’d happily stay again.
