I was only at the hotel for a few hours. Checked in at 4 PM, put on tux and went away for the evening. Returned at midnight and crashed. Departed at 7 AM. This hotel was clean, plumbing in good shape, no complaints.

Cheap and cheerful for overnighting in Mojave

Drove through on the way to Death Valley from Yosemite as the other routes were closed (dull drive). Needed a bed to crash for the night. This suited budget-wise and wasn't a chain (which is always a plus). Guys were friendly and, although room smelled a bit of smoke, it was fine and clean. Basic but with coffeemaker, basic continenal breakfast

Very pleasant "old-style" motel

Built in the 1940's but somewhat refurbished on the inside, this motel is ideal if you want to experience an old-style motel without experiencing a run-down room. Bathroom and bedding very clean.

Convenient and adequate for a short stay

We chose this hotel because we need to stay on a long driving to Vegas and this hotel has good price and reviews. It was very easy to find, and the room is very quiet for a good night rest, with free wifi and breakfast.

I have stayed here 5 or 6 times over the past 5 years and am always impressed. What the owners have done with a little, old roadside motel is nothing short of amazing. Andy could definitely teach a lot of newer, more well appointed, upscale properties a lot about customer service.

Old but clean. Friendly staff.

It is an older motel. However, it is clean and the manager was very courteous and friendly. It is just the right distance to be halfway for our trips to northern California. It looks rather old and tired from the outside, but as I said the rooms are clean, and they have both mini-fridge and microwave.

Would stay again

Older facility but has been kept up and refurbished. Better furnished than many motels in this price range. Kitchen table, desk, two chair, fridge, microwave, in-room coffee maker. Individual lamps on either side of bed and over desk--all working. Two night stands. Bathroom had new tile and paint. Furniture looks mostly like it came from oak furniture liquidators--but solid and well built ( we had similar in our home until we moved). It's in Mojave, so there is not a lot going on--good for those of us who like it that way. Only downside--king bed had three pillows--one was moderate, but two were rather hard.

Clean, convenient and friendly staff

We picked this based on the rating it received and it looked good from the pictures. The motel is well kept but it is pretty tired. Furntiture and decour are well worn and the airconditioning unit in the room whirred very noisily. COuld not keep it on at night. On the plus side the room was spotless which made up for the tired worn look. The staff were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was dissapointing consiting of three different cereals. I would stay there again as it is god value, but forwarned is forearmed.

This is the second time I've stayed here and both times, the gent at the desk was very helpful and accommodating. Even though he had not received my Expedia booking and they were full, he was able to give me a room for both nights. Next time, I'll call to confirm the booking!

Ok for brief stop just to break from a long drive

Stayed one night to break up a long drive. Chose this motel based on the high rating on Expedia. The room and accommodations did not live up to the ratings. The management/staff was very friendly and pleasant. The worst thing was the incredibly hard bed and pillows. Had a tough time sleeping. The building is old so the floors squeak a lot both inside and outside on the common walk in front of the rooms. The bathroom was very clean, but the carpet was dirty, and the bed comforter did not feel clean. There was a stuffy smell to the room as well. Mohave is not flourishing and so this motel may be the standard in this area. I still do not think it should have such a high rating, maybe it is because of the reasonable price.

Pas de petit déjeuner et des chambres juste correctes, même si les sanitaires ont été refaits récemment. La climatisation fait un bruit d'enfer et l'odeur n'est pas agréable, et à notre arrivée, il faisait une température extrême dans la chambre (clim éteinte) dont la porte est d'un autre âge.

Exceeded our expectation

We were a little worried about how the motel would look like but it turned out to be quite a nice and clean room. The air conditioner is a little noisey and the bathroom is small. Overall, it is quite good for a short stay.

Clean and comfortable well worth the price.

We needed a place to spend the night to brake up a long trip. Took a wild stab at a place based on Expedia listings. Was pleased with the choice. Convenient location, clean room, older property but well maintained. Owner was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to answer our questions. We stayed there going and coming home and will stay there again if we make the trip using that route.

Stay in the desert

This was great overnight stay. The owners were extremely helpful and were very happy to ensure your comfort and needs were met. Although the hotel is older it is very clean and tidy.
