Great amenities. Let down by the fact the lift was out of service the whole time I was there, limiting myself due to my disability making me bound to my room for a lot of the stay which was dissapointing.

The apartment slept 4 (there were2 of us), but we were only given 2 bath and one hand towel. Sofa needed replacing as cover cracked and split. Lift doesn’t work in the rain. Male (manager?) on reception told me to go on line to order takeaway from any site although we found out the restaurant had a take away menu. Large space for 2.

As always a great stay. Nice staff, good breakfast and nice apartment. Only thing this year was the elevator didn’t work during our stay (1 week) not okay, and when asking in the reception the answer was, working on it. We were at first floor, so we could manage but the upper flors had difficulties getting up.

food excellent variety , offered a chance to take a paid upgrade which was accepted . staff and fellow guest friendly and easy to connect with . Location is amazing for sea views and vehicle access to the island . Within easy walking distance of 2 really good beaches which are served by numerous cafes and various water sports

Great location, comfortable appartments

Always great to stay at Bahia Blanca. Great appartments (but this time we were at one of the top ones, and you really need to "love" stairs"). Nice staff and good atmosphere. Benefit with the location is that you can walk to Amadores Beach (10 minuttes) and to the centers of Puerto Rico (20-30 minutes).

Room was clean and well equipped. Pool tiles on the floor were broken in various areas. Cleaning only once every five days. Magda on reception was amazing and always helpful absolute credit to this business. Hotel is the perfect location for both Amadores and Puerto Rico.

Staff Property is amazing location,close to restaurants and shops, unfortunately not enough parking, the pool is nice but too small for the amount of guests with very small area around so not enough long chairs people are on top of each other Staff was very pleasant, rooms are nice we just had issues with Ants.

I stayed at this hotel for my vacation, and it happened to be raining heavily. We had very large pieces of luggage, but the elevator wasn't working. Even though there were many staff members around, nobody offered to help us, even after we explicitly asked. We had to carry our heavy bags up ourselves, step by step, and I actually slipped and fell. Throughout our entire 5-day stay, the elevator broken every single day. We had to manage everything completely on our own; the staff simply didn't care. We paid a premium price expecting good service, but received none. There was no room service or porter to help with luggage. I even saw several elderly guests struggling with their bags with absolutely no assistance from the staff. I have seriously never had such a terrible experience before.

Very nice hotel with convenient location, you can walk to both Puerto Rico as well as Amadores beach. Nice apartments all with fabulous views. Really nice staff. Breakfast ok.

Plus points: Great staff, good facilities and nice room with a comfortable bed and fabulous sea views. Super shower with plenty of hot water. Quiet at night. Breakfast was great and much better than expected, with lots of hot and cold options. Less good points: the lift was broken down for the entirety of our stay (10 nights). Fortunately, our room was on a medium level and we are pretty fit, so it wasn’t too bad for us, but for people higher up and especially old folk it could be a nightmare. The resort is built on a mountain side, as is much of Puerto Rico and is not really suitable for people with impaired mobility. cold options.

Great complex and location BUT funicular out of service for 2 weeks of my stay and despite having 187 steps to the apartment there was no real apology or additional help. Some people with health issues had to move and pay again for alternative accommodation! Was disappointed by response from management

Terrible experience

We were on half board basis and we made a huge mistake because food was terrible. We had only 1 breakfast and 1 dinner and all other days we had to eat somewhere else. The lift wasn't working on our first day.It seems the lift is always the problem there. Apartments has a lot of stairs which is a big problem especially when your apartments are at the top of hill.The young lady at the reception wasn't nice with us at all.She actually was very rude with us and she didn't want to listen about any our complaints.We were asked to pay extras for 24 and 25/12 evening meals but as the food was terrible we refused to pay all extras. Apartments overall are nice and has everything what you need. Sofa bed was terrible, my son wasn't sleeping at the night time at all.The bed for our son wasn't prepared even. Also was very noisy but we don't mind it. The place wasn't for us at all.We had been before in so many lovely places in Gran Canaria but this apartments were the worst place we had ever been.

Disappointing

It was lovely and I’ve stayed there year after year when I return to Puerto Rico because of how satisfied I’ve been- however this year to my disappointment, I feel it has gone downhill- cleaning every 5 days only and on on occasion I had a migraine so stayed in apartment for the day and cleaners could not come in- we missed our slot and cleaners did not return for the remainder of our stay- when we requested next day for our apartment to be cleaned we were told at reception that is the risk you take!!! Not acceptable for the price we paid- we could have stayed in any 5 star hotel on the island for same price- we chose here because it was always reliable, clean and friendly staff. We always arrive in late so would receive a welcome pack of bread water and milk- with tea and coffee sachets- that is no longer the case. The staff in the restaurant and bar were so friendly and brilliant to deal with as too were James and Dave in entertainment- an asset to the team!! However, the staff at reception, one in particular was extremely rude and almost went out of his way to disoblige- a sargeant major attitude. I could go on…. On short, Bahia Blanca has lost its appeal and reasons I have always returned. For that reason I won’t be back

Vi hade bokat 17 nätter och Bahia Blanca kunde fått toppbetyg om det inte vore för ett par saker. Här kommer därför både ris och lite ros. Först ros: Boendet var till stora delar mycket bra. Modern utrustning i både kök och toalett/dusch. Gott om och smarta förvaringsutrymme i både lådor och skåp. Förutom gott om det mesta i köket, kaffekokare, vattenkokare så fanns det det både strykjärn och hårfön. Fint på på uteplatsen med både sittplatser och solbäddar och en fantastisk utsikt. Vi hade bokat halvpension (frukost+middag) och har bara gott att säga om både mat och personal. Bahia ligger strategiskt placerat mellan Puerto Rico och Amadores (fantastisk strand), c:a 10 min. promenad åt bägge håll. Jag har sett i tidigare recensioner att det har klagats på kabelhissen. Och jag förstår dem. Under vår vistelse var den ur funktion i 3 dagar! Dålig information om när det skulle åtgärdas. Det är väldigt kuperat med mycket avsatser i olika våningsplan och det är viktigt att påpeka för dem som har problem med att gå i trappor. Divansoffan i någon slags skinn imitation hade krakelerat/spruckit på sittytan och det var både obehagligt och kändes ohygieniskt. Multimaskinen i gymmet var ur funktion och hade varit det länge. Vi påpekade det tre gånger men ingen visste vem som var ansvarig eller när det skulle åtgärdas. Under ett par dagar höll de på att ta bort betong i poolområder med slaghammare. Mycket störande!

Den eneste elevator var ofte ude af drift. Strømmen gik i lejligheden, når det regnede og det gjorde det desværre ofte. Rengøring kun hver femte dag er ikke optimalt. Udmærkede værelser. Flink personale.
