our room had a wonderful ocean view you could stare at all day. the stair case to the beach was good exercise and well maintained. The drivable Moclips beach was a first for my wife and I. Some rooms are being renovated insuring this Washington gem will be a destination well into the future. Hoping to return.

Nicely remodeled room with stunning ocean views. It was fun to hike down the stairs through the trail that leads to the beautiful beach front. Just a few minute drive to Seabrook where we had dinner and grabbed some coffee before hitting the road the next day. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed in the renovated section and it was top notch with beautiful views and walk-on or drive-on access to the beach. The amenities across the street were great (indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi). Restaurant was closed on sunday but we found great restaurants in nearby Seabrook. Would definitely return!

The room was VERY nice - GREAT sunset and ocean views, comfortable bed, drapes made the room dark, etc. Lighting in the room could be better (especially corner where table is), and I was disappointed the pool was across the highway. Also the bathroom needs more towel rods/rings/hooks. But I would stay there again, if in the area. The restaurant was BY FAR our best meal of the 10-day trip! Soooo good! (And we had lots of good meals!)

We booked a couple of days for our honeymoon trip to the coast. We then saw some really bad reviews and were concerned. Please ignore the bad reviews. Yes, it's a bit rustic,but the room was spotlessly clean, the bed, pillows and linens were fresh and new as well as very comfortable! And the dining room was absolutely on point! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again if/when we do the peninsula again!!

The view was lovely but the building definitely needs some maintenance. It was disappointing that the gate for the path down to the beach was not open at daybreak as promised but several hours later. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant very much! It was delicious and the service was great.

Spectacular setting in a lush forest on a bluff with views of and steps down to the beach. Spacious rooms with balconies. Well equipped kitchenette. Pet friendly. Spa and heated pool and sauna across the road — no bathrooms, changing room or water alas during an extended repair or remodel, and wish it had been open an hour later than 9pm. A very nice, albeit pricey, fine dining restaurant on premises. Despite the drawbacks, it exceeded our expectations.

Charming rooms in a gorgeous setting. The walk down to the beach is nearly as beautiful as the beach itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It makes a perfect home base for exploring the surrounding areas on the Olympic Peninsula. For the price, it is great value.

The Ocean Crest Resort had a homey atmosphere, nicely remodeled and great location just off the highway. Nice ocean view with almost a tree house feel. Not good beach access if you can’t handle stairs - but we enjoyed it.

Beautiful location and an easy drive to Seabrook for breakfast or lunch if desired, although front desk staff weren’t especially knowledgeable about options outside of the on-site restaurant. (The were very friendly and amenable, though!) Rooms are nicely renovated and very clean. Biggest feedback would be to include more hooks or bars in the restrooms to hang towels and or clothing during stay. Restaurant was a delight. We had a wonderful experience there between quality and selection of menu items, service, and even a good chat with the chef. We will definitely consider Ocean Crest as an option next time we are in the area.

The location is unbeatable. Our room looked out over the lush ravine where a winding staircase takes guests from the top of the bluff, through the trees and rhododendrons, to the ocean below. The restaurant exceeded our expectations, both in views and food. We'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a low-key relaxing beach vacation. Great for families or a romantic getaway.

We have been coming to Ocean Crest Resort since 1971 for family reunions. The location above a beautiful beach is spectacular. The staff has invariably been helpful and understanding about our gatherings outside the rooms. I am, however saddened by the apparent decision of the owners not to upgrade the facilities. Our suite was comfortable but the stove needs maintenance and the couch needs replacement. The rec center badly needs investment. While we were there the jacuzzi was out of order, the locker rooms were closed and the internal temperature of the pool area was way too high. What we have experiences are significantly higher room rates without any corresponding improvements to the rooms and facilities. One final point - we have traditionally capped our stay with Monday night dinner in the restaurant. This year the restaurant was closed on Monday.
