Smother Inn! Keeping in mind that this is the only option in Moberly, other than a Motel 6, this Comfort Inn is marginal at best. The room was humid and smelled like cigarettes and dogs. The window AC unit was leaking inside the room. The carpet was damp and a bag we set n the area got extremely wet causing our clothing to get damp and unwearable. It serves as a truck stop and is the only franchise hotel within 30 miles of the area. Breakfast was decent. We needed to use the business center to print but the desk associate was unaware of how to get the computer to work. I am not sure what time check out was, but our keycards were deactivated before 9am. IF we have to stay again, I will book with hotel directly. The desk associate blew off our issue because it was a third party booking. The only good part about this stay was that it was within 7 minutes of our reason for visiting.

We have stayed there several times. The place is always clean. It’s the nicest place to stay in town. It’s not the Ritz Carlton but for Moberly standards, it’s pretty good.

We've stayed here several times and will continue to do so. Check-in is usually quick and easy. Several places to eat nearby, some within walking distance. Aldi is about a quarter of a mile if you need a few groceries. Queen rooms are adequate, King rooms are quite large. Be aware that rooms on the north side of the building can be noisy from truck trucks idling overnight at the adjacent truck stop. Breakfast here is STELLAR (except for disappointing coffee) and the breakfast attendant keeps things stocked and the tables clean. Out of the six times we have stayed here, the indoor pool has only been open once. If that's important to you, call ahead.
