Amazing experience. We even got complimentary snacks downstairs like water, chips, soda, and some dessert items. There was even a 24/7 coffee bar. The employees were so nice as well.

Automatically this place became my go-to stay for st paul/minneapolis trips. Everyone I met here was super kind and helpful, the room was very clean and I felt very safe staying here! The little complimentary treats were great too. Nice location and very cozy stay here :)

I really enjoyed the property, it was very nice and clean. The little kitchenette was useful and the room was perfect for my stay. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the property. The snacks and accommodations were also great. I will be staying with them again! The only annoying thing was paying for parking, otherwise 4/5!! Thank you!

This was our first time staying here. Room was clean, staff was super friendly and accommodating, and it was a short walk to the Grand Casino Arena. Great experience!

Place was fantastic! I liked the added touches like drinks and treats. Alandra and Camille helped me and were amazing at the front desk. They were so genuinely nice and friendly. Made me feel very welcome. Room very clean, comfy bed. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others.

From the woman welcome by Camille Rooks to the well appointed room with a full refrigerator, cooktop, coffee machine, luggage rack, actual hangers in the closet, staying at the Roami was a good experience. Everyone was helpful with travel directions, suggestions etc, There are laundry facilities on every other floor with free detergent and dryer sheets. There is complementary beverages in the lobby and this place is clearly clientele centered.

Interesting hotel that is somewhat an extended stay. Way too much over-communication on the check-in process, to the point I was getting 6-10 push notifications a day. One night, someone was doing laundry until 3am that sounded like a diesel truck idling in the hallway. All that being said, it's a new hotel, and was inexpensive, and was a comfortable sleep otherwise.

great location, right by the train station that goes to the nfl stadium. the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. they have snacks and drinks at the front that are complimentary. the room is small but the perfect size. room includes a full size fridge, stove top, microwave. the room was modern and clean. you have to take out the trash on your own but it was fine because it is a big garbage bin.

Brand new property so it's in pristine shape. Very quiet, fully equipped, dishes, pans, water filter picture. Bring your streaming log on passwords for smart TV. Beds comfy, no ice machine but there are ice cube trays in the freezer. No parking, but there is a cheap lot across the street and meter parking.

On my way to my nursing travel assignment in SD, I booked a studio room with Expedia at Roami at the Fitz in St. Paul, MN. I was looking for somewhere quiet and secure for a couple of days before I got back on the road. On arrival, I was greeted by a young lady named Deandra (I apologize if I misspelled her name) she gave me a tour of the lobby and breakfast area and much needed information. From then on my stay was absolutely wonderful! Building is secure! You’re given a code for access and you use that same code to enter your room! (I Love that) Location perfect, downtown area, near everything! I had to pay for parking but I knew that my car would be safe. My room was clean and comfortable, bathroom had plenty of towels, kitchenette equipped with needed utensils and I was able to open the window for fresh air. (That’s a plus) Before I got back on the road I was able to do laundry in which they provided Tide pods and dryer sheets. I truly enjoyed my stay and I rate the hotel 10/10!

This property cancelled my booking the SAME DAY as check in. They cancelled via TEXT without even saying it was Roami cancelling. I had to call customer service, who said they cancelled my reservation because something was “flagged during review.” They gave NO reason beyond this, and I met all the booking requirements (age, paid in full, etc). This is likely because their check-in process is inane—you have to scan your ID, then send a selfie, then fill out a form about why you’re staying: and I had to do all of this twice. Extremely unprofessional, I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone. I had to book a new hotel, which of course let me stay via a normal check-in process. Save your time and book somewhere else.

The room is fine. The people on site are nice. Do not buy parking from a third party vendor. And whatever you do, don’t leave anything in the room. I left an Apple Watch in mine and did not get it back. Plus, after you leave, the people you text aren’t as nice anymore. Oh, and if there is anything wrong with your TV, it takes hours for someone to come in and fix it. I, personally, would never stay here again.

my advice is to stay somewhere else. to me, this building seemed like it had been used as subsidized housing by a public agency and then sold. The new owner may have transformed each of the units into a hotel room, but they couldn’t change the stairways, the elevators, or the sad depressing feeling inside the building. The apartment that I was given was perfectly fine. In a neutral kind of way, there was no problem. However, when I got off the elevator on my floor there was someone yelling “F this” and “F that”, other people in the building weren’t comfortable being in the elevator with someone they didn’t know, and the overall feeling was not comfortable. I could not stay in the unit. The money was nonrefundable because that’s how this thing works, but I did not stay in the unit that I had paid for. I found other accommodation. well the location is close to a freeway, it is in a particularly lifeless section of downtown Saint Paul, not the liveliest town around to begin with.

Unusual hotel stay but overall worked out well. Staff were friendly and helpful, but they were often not at the reception desk. Didn’t need the ladies a lot but had questions several times; we called 2x & texted 1x about where to find the room safe in the room & how to get extra towels. Each time, we went to the lobby to get our answer. Fwiw, there are no safes in the rooms (“We don’t have safes because we’re not a hotel. And since no one enters your room but you, nothing will be stolen.” First, not a hotel? That’s weird because I found the place on a hotel booking website. Then no one entering the room but us is not a reassuring answer since the hotel is in a sketchy area & well, it’s a hotel. Rooms get broken into at hotels all the time. In the end, not an issue but it would have been nice to be able to leave our passports and my jewelry in a safe (admittedly, it was only fashion jewelry but still…). Pros: Clean, spacious room; kitchenette was handy; price was reasonable; perks like helping yourself to drinks and snacks, and the baked goods and fruit for breakfast was convenient and a nice touch. Coffee/espresso/hot chocolate machine was great. Cons: Check-in is ridiculous; you check yourself in before you even arrive by uploading a selfie & a copy of your photo ID. I get they’re trying to save money but I’d rather pay extra to have someone check us in. Parking: not in a hotel lot and the closest and least expensive was just a street level lot; all options were unguarded.
