We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Milwaukee Riverfront! The hot tub was one of our favorite parts, and the staff were all very nice, friendly, and helpful. The lobby has plenty of space to relax and spend time with family, whether you want to play games, enjoy some delivery pizza, or just hang out together. It’s nice to have a comfortable space where the whole family can unwind and enjoy time together. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for a family getaway!

The pool floor and stairs were slippery which means there is bacteria/algae present. The hot tub had quite a bit of debris floating around. This was a let down especially when you are traveling with kiddos who love to swim.

Parking was easy, with convenient access right off the highway. We stayed here for Marquette Parents’ Weekend, and the location was great. Close to campus and very convenient. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The AC worked almost too well, though. We had trouble finding a comfortable setting: 70° made the room feel muggy, while 68° or 69° made it freezing. When it reached the set temperature, the unit would blow hot air for a few seconds, which was odd. It was also leaking condensation, leaving the floor soaked next to the bed. A picture had fallen off the bathroom wall and was leaning against it when we arrived. I reported it so the staff wouldn’t think we caused it, but it should have been addressed before our arrival for safety reasons. We were surprised that breakfast was an additional $17 per person. While we didn’t mind paying extra, that felt steep for what was offered. The dining area also needed attention. Tables weren’t being cleared or wiped down, and an employee sitting behind the desk issuing the guest plates and silverware was eating his own plate of food, which didn’t feel particularly sanitary. Overall, the location was fine, the room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were nice. The AC maintenance and breakfast/dining area could definitely use improvement.
