We love the atmosphere at the County Claire. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pub downstairs is a plus. I think it is one of Milwaukee’s hidden hems!

The breakfast menu and made to order omelets with fresh ingredients were awesome. The chef was great! This is a wonderful hotel and pub. Very clean, very accommodating. We would stay again and refer friends. Good job!

From check in with Isabelle to a nice room, whirlpool tub, tasty omelette’s from Ben for breakfast, another smiling face from Angie at the front desk, a tasty Guinness after a zoo visit on Thursday…a very nice stay and we will be back. Loved it!

What could be better than an Irish pub and inn? It was delightful. The room was clean, interesting, and had a great bathroom. The pub was perfect and breakfast, which was excellent, is served there. 5 stars all the way!

After 8pm, the bartender checks you in as there is no other staff on duty, if the bartender is busy...your going to be waiting awkwardly with luggage in a noisy bar. I had to wait several minutes even to be acknowledged and then another 5-10 minutes while she made drinks for everyone. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable but the TV was about 20 inches and there were stains on the carpet. Location was good and parking was a plus. In the morning there is an omelot station in the bar which was excellent but you had to clean up your own table. For the price, the overall service was lacking. It does have potential to receive higher stars with some heavy cleaning, a little paint and a dedicated front desk attendant.

I felt as if I was dropped in Dublin. This was so quaint. One block away from the Hop. Walkable to a bar to catch the free shuttle to the Brewers game. Close to cute local places and the Bier Garden on the Lake. Staff was great and the omelets were delicious. Parking available. I would totally stay here again!!!!!

This is a unique property. Very historic and situated in the middle of town. Convenient for walking to restaurants and shopping. Their Pub is wonderful so you may not want to go anywhere else.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and very well furnished. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. I've stayed here twice recently and never had any issues. However, I honestly try to avoid this place because they do not have a 24hr staffed front desk, which can be very inconvenient if you need to arrive late.
