It was worth the money for the stay. Furnishings were old and dated but clean. The mattress was clearly newer and seemed too soft but surprisingly more comfortable than expected. It was obvious that the clients staying longer and the staff related well with each other. Adding peanut butter, small bananas, and small apples to the breakfast bar while deleting some of the carbohydrate foods might provide a more appealing breakfast within the same budget.

Pros: the bed was comfortable and the room was not dirty. Neutral: could it have been cleaner? Yes but other things were more apparently horrible. Cons: First off, the photographs online are NOT accurate views of the room you will get. The room stank of stale cigarette smoke to the point I left the window open (without a screen) because the smell was making me nauseous. There were no chairs in the room. I took one from the breakfast area. The curtains were falling off the rod and the furniture was garage sale crap that didn't go together. Someone had scratched a person's face on the door; that was the only artwork. There were people hanging out in the hallways & loud TVs and talking. It felt like a cheap apartment building, not a hotel. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment.

Room was clean. Advertised as room for 6 but no rollaway available so woke up with a backache after sharing bed with 2 kids. No phone in room. Never told when breakfast was so not all made it to eat. Coffee really bitter. Low price.

Honestly was first attracted by the price. After checking in I realized what a great bargain I got. Not only is it located in a prime shopping area, but it is close to major highways for easy access.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness
Check in staff was great. That was the end of it. The room was damp, musty, smelly. Shower head and curtain were filthy. It took a can of air freshener to cut the smell. Had to ask for clean towels. It looked as if the towels were just refolded from the previous occupant. Requested a room change but that wasn't possible because it was after 12:00. The next morning the room change wasn't possible because it was before 12:00. Continental breakfast was ok. Minimal. Would not recommend it or stay here again.
