“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. “Location was excellent. Room was tiny and not particularly clean. Sink was a bit clogged and toilet was not flushing properly. To get to room, you had to walk up a very large flight of stairs (with luggage). Free breakfast had limited selection and just plain not good. I would never stay here again.”

“Room was too small; hardly any space for ironing board (explains why it was not provided). They may consider tearing down the closed almost condemned hotel office. I would not feel comfortable staying alone. It was just a one late night sleep space we needed.”
