Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great. Excellent location. I understand the pool/spa was not part of the facility but it was a little misleading and very disappointing.

We traveled to Dublin to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the Talbot Hotel surprised us with a lovely dessert in the room and an upgrade to a suite. The room was wonderful decorated, spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is nicely located in town. It also offered complementary parking. We were very impressed with the delicious daily breakfast included with the room reservation and the kindness of the restaurant servers who went out of their way to offer a box of pastries to go each morning. We highly recommend the Talbot Hotel Midleton.

Love the location. The hotel staff was great. If you need somewhere that has great air conditioning this is the place for you. The cozy rooms are truly cozy, but well appointed with a decent size bathroom. Depending where your room is, it can be a little challenging finding your room, try and use the same elevator or staircase. The bar staff was only okay. It took awhile to get any help at the bar which didn’t look busy, and the staff didn’t seem friendly, maybe it was an off day.

Hotel was beautiful, though could use a deep cleaning in the bathroom around the shower grout. Also very inconvenient to have no hot water in the morning, but not the hotels fault

Room was comfortable and clean, and the ensuit and shower were lovely too. Perfect for a cheaper stay just outside of Cork. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to use the leisure facilities but it was nice to have the option. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

Hotel was nice, some areas are worn like carpet in room, paint on doorways and wood frame had lots of chips. Room has hot the first night, window only opened about 2 inches and only a small fan in room. Bed was comfortable, shower was nice and they had shampoo and body wash. Bar/Lounge was nice and they made a good mojito. Location was a nice central safe area
