Beautiful resort. Interior, resort grounds and the rooms were impeccable but what made this resort exceptional for us were the staff. Everyone was just so attentive, friendly and helpful. A special mention to Halidi at the kid’s pool, such an amazing young man. Him and Jafari were just brilliant with our little boy. Elizabeth at the beach bar. What a wonderful person. Honestly, some of the nicest people we’ve met. The resort itself is located in quite a secluded area and a distance away from a lot of the excursions, this wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting.

My stay at Jaz Elite Aurora was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcome with their warmth and professionalism. The property is absolutely stunning, modern, spotless, and designed with comfort in mind. The food was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options that catered to every taste. The pools, the beach access, and the overall atmosphere created the perfect balance of relaxation and enjoyment. Everything was exceptionally clean, and every detail was handled with care. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The team went above and beyond, making me feel valued. The chef even baked me a cake for my birthday and the staff sung to me. This isn’t just a beautiful resort, it’s a place run by genuinely kind people. I will definitely recommend Jaz Elite Aurora to anyone visiting Zanzibar. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Such a beautiful Hotel, filled with a lot of great people. Had such an amazing experience at the Jaz Elite Aurora. All the staffs were wonderful and kind. Room was kept clean all the time was cleaned twice a day. Are pool was also cleaned everyone morning before using. I also used the gym a lot and that was clean everytime I went to the gym. The restaurant was really good too had 4 different options of food for various times which was really good and the quality of food everywhere was really nice. Special mention has to go to the waitress wand waiter at all the restaurants. They were all great and so were the staffs and managers who stopped from time to time everyday to check in on us. I booked a specific room for our stay and was really pleased with what I was given had a really great view of the beach and the sea. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Zanzibar! Will definitely be going back.

We spent 8 unforgettable nights at JAZ Elite Aurora and it truly stands out as one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. What makes this resort exceptional is the leadership and culture. General Manager Domenico Iannone is visibly present and leads by example — you can feel it throughout the entire team. His management colleagues Mr Reda, Mr Youssef, and Mr Mohamed were all engaged and approachable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere across the property. Valentine’s Day was beautifully executed with themed decorations, a tailored menu, live music, and a wonderful cocktail evening where guests were introduced to each other, making it feel personal and inclusive. The food at Mwamba Grill was outstanding (the beef tagliata is a must!), Mr Hussein and his team provided excellent service, Mr Othman at reception was consistently welcoming, and housekeeping kept our room spotless throughout our stay. When we left, there was a genuine sadness — it felt like leaving people, not just a hotel. That says everything. We are already planning to return — and hope Domenico and his fantastic team will still be there when we do.

Hôtel magnifique, autant niveau décoration que la qualité des infrastructures (piscines, restaurants…), la plage etc. Les chambres standards sont relativement spacieuses. Le personnel est très sympa mais parfois un peu lent dans le service. Le kids club n’est pas vraiment opérationnel, c’est dommage.
