This was my first stay at Suites del Angel after many, many stays at the other Reforma budget hotels (San Marino, Hotel del Angel, Suites Georgio). Suites Del Angel is a much nicer property than the others. It makes an excellent first impression. SDA actually has a fully functional working kitchenette (as opposed to San Marino and Georgio). But shortly after checking in, little problems started to pop up (non-functioning fridge, coffee maker, toaster). In fairness, they eventually took care of all of those issues. However, the hotel did not respond at all to messages sent about the problems via Expedia. We had to chase down staff members to get them taken care of. That said, the staff people were wonderful an friendly.

The place was nice and very convenient to many restaurants and bars as well as the Angel de independencia. However, the staff was not very friendly when we checked in the guy who was there was not very nice. Also before checking-in we tried to contact the property ande they took a long time for respond. We wanted to let our luggage before the check-in hour and they told there were be a fee to do that. Other than that, the room was very spacious.

Internet was okay except for TV, a bit slow. The air conditioning was locked to 22c and appeared to automatically shut off, when we were not in the hotel room. Bed was comfortable. No laundry on site. No breakfast on site. Furniture uncomfortable. Sitting room dark. Delivered cooking utensils when requested. Strong shower water that was very hot . Would definitely stay again.
