“The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. “A reasonable hotel with a good restaurant. Very good food available in the dining room, staff helpful and pleasant. A lack of heating and hot water marred our stay (in November) but otherwise good”

“Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and accomodation”

“There was only one member of staff on reception at check in time which means multiple guests have to wait to check in. We went for lunch and had to ask firstly to order drinks and then again to order food. Unfortunately the burgers were way over cooked and the waiter had no incling that this might not be acceptable. It is unfathomable to me based on the price that a full breakfast wouldn’t be included in room rate.”

“Very clean appartment in pristine condition. Excellent kitchen facilities. Good shower with excellent water flow. Dressing room for luggage and changing. Beverley the host very helpful and accomodating. Excellent stay, wound recomend.”

“Place was clean and lovely and staff very helpful. I would’ve loved to have found out what the “meal deal” was in the lounge though. And no air conditioning so our room was sooooo hot at night. We had a fan that helped but was so hard to sleep. I understand it’s not the hotels fault but yeah it wasn’t as hot outside anymore it seemed to retain the heat from the last few months still”

“A beautiful thatched pub in the Suffolk countryside with original features and delicious breakfast”

“Very noisy hotel. Surrounded by the motorway and a road and with a horrible acoustics isolation. The wifi does not work properly. On the positive side, the staff is very professional and nice and the breakfast is very complete. ”

“Pristine”

“The property was clean. George and Jordan were very welcoming. There was a choice of continental breakfast or cooked breakfast. Parking is free. We were really happy with our king room, there is a shower, toilet, sink and bath in our room. The bedroom is very big, wardrobes. Two very Happy customers and will definitely be back there again.”

“Everything was amazing. Oliver was beyond helpful and kind!”

“A beautiful house in a stunning location - everything you need close by and the walled garden is just amazing . ”

“Staff was very friendly, super quiet hotel with air conditioning. Very clean.”
