Landscaping is amazing. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Keep in mind, you are on vacation and things move bit slower than in USA. Having said that, some restaurants were really slow. Buffet was closed during our stay and that was inconvenient specially for lunch. If you like seafood, try lobster omelet at French restaurant. Most restaurants do not require reservations and it was not difficult to get a table. Barbados is an amazing place to visit. Wonderful people.

Our vacation didn’t start out well from the moment we landed in Barbados. Standing out in the high heat for 30 minutes waiting to be brought to the hotel. Then when we arrived, we simply wanted to check in, take a shower and begin our vacation. It took about another hour before our luggage was brought to the room. The rooms are old. Tiles around the tub were patched wrong. Overhead shower was dripping constantly and the bathroom trash can was old and rusted! Toilets themselves are too low. Not conducive for seniors. Lots of noise throughout the day from power washes to hammer drilling to blowers. Constantly! The resort is huge and therefore, signage could be better getting around. Found ourselves constantly asking staff how to get to a particular restaurant or back to the hotel room. Staff however were outstanding. Very friendly and professional. They were always available and very helpful. Would we stay there again? Probably not. We’ve visited Barbados many times over the years. First time at a Sandals and we were simply not impressed.

The staff is what makes this place so nice to go to. But unfortunately the facility is just something outdated. We unfortunately came on a time where the seaweed washed ashore which is something that happens and because of that we were unable to use any of the water sports amenities. This really put a damper on the trip. You're not told this when you book but to call and get food delivered to your room you must have Butler Service or there is no room service. The staff was nice enough to accommodate for my girlfriend's birthday for one day. I've just never have stayed at a resort or any hotel that doesn't have room service. We try to go play tennis one day and there was only one tennis ball available that look like it was sitting in a mud pile for a couple days. The staff is what makes this Resort. The facility itself can use some upgrade in which they're in the process of doing. Give it two or three years and I wouldn't recommend giving it a try

Brilliantly brilliant!

What can I say! Absolutely fantastic… Service was of the scale, food and drink were spot on and the grounds and amenities were amazing. In my top 3 holidays of all time. One slight criticism, you cannot get away from music anywhere on the resort if you wanted a bit of quiet relaxing.

Amazing place - already rebooked!

This is how all “All inclusive”’s should be!! Not only was everything included, premium spirits as well, but there was so much choice. 20 places to eat at meant in the week we were here we didn’t try all of them. Quiet and Lively areas to suit all tastes. Shame the sea was choppy all of our stay but it didn’t really spoil much. And the staff (all staff!) were just so friendly. Big converts to the Sandals concept.

The resort is beautiful, the food is excellent & varied but the jewel in the crown is without a doubt the staff. Everybody is friendly beyond belief, helpful and just plain fun. Special mention needs to go to: Makayla of the donut shop with whom we had a wonderful chat sitting outside during a lull in business. Ryan, Ken and Tory at the dive shack who made my first dives after many years worry free. Maxwell of maintenance who dropped everything he was doing to help us with our room door that locked us out. Rhea of the Cafe de Paris who was a picture of efficiency, making crêpes, dispensing pastries, coffees & ice cream nonstop, always agreeable, never flustered. Thanks to all!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 – Beautiful Property, Great Food, but Service Needs Improvement We recently stayed at a Sandals resort and were genuinely impressed by how beautiful the property was. The grounds were immaculate, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food throughout the resort was truly amazing. You can tell a lot of care goes into the culinary experience, and we appreciated that. However, a few service issues kept the stay from being perfect. At one of the restaurants, we waited for a lunch table and were ignored for about two minutes while staff walked past us without acknowledging we were there. It wasn’t a long wait, but it didn’t match the level of attentiveness you expect from a resort of this caliber. The biggest disappointment was with one of our excursions. It had been scheduled for the day before, but when we arrived on time, we ended up waiting in the lobby for an hour only to be told it was cancelled due to lack of availability. It was frustrating to lose that time and miss out on an experience we were looking forward to—especially since we could have planned something else instead. Overall, the resort itself is stunning and the food exceeded expectations, but the service inconsistencies and excursion mishap were disappointing. With a bit more attention to guest communication and hospitality, this stay could have easily been a five‑star experience.

This is my first time staying at a Sandals resort and visiting Barbados and it was disappointing. I do not think I would go back. I felt like it was a waste of money. The positive side is staff were very friendly except for one of the ladies working at the main pool bar. Overall I feel this was over advertised. They say there’s a lot of restaurants but not really. The good ones is only available for dinner. If you want to make reservations you have to go to the desk, which they leave so early. The breakfast is horrible. We ate once and never tried it again. Lunch there’s not many options open. As far as the liquor it felt like it was cut with water. You can drink all day and never feel drunk. Entertainment completely horrible. There’s barely anything to do. Especially at night. The beds are way too firm. I’ve stayed at lower scale resorts and had a wayyyy better experience. It’s also disappointing because this was the first vacation my boyfriend I took together and we honestly both felt like we wished we picked elsewhere. For my first time staying at a sandals I am really disappointed and don’t think I would be likely to book again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our first trip to Barbados and our first Sandals experience was unforgettable as we celebrated our 5-year anniversary! From the laughs at Butch’s with Christina, to Ms. Deborah making our anniversary extra special with her beautiful songs, and Marisse and the amazing ladies at the swim-up bar keeping the drinks flowing, every moment was incredible. The food, atmosphere, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return! ❤️🌴

40th Anniversary stated at booking, never acknowledged until I mentioned last night of our stay. Luggage took awhile so we headed out to eat. Met our luggage in the elevator unattended riding the floors. Luggage should never be unattended, no excuse. Service was extremely rude at Dino's Fri afternoon and French crepe Cafe Sunday evening. French restaurant Brian (our waiter) and Ryan C were both excellent. Several guest were sharing rudeness and lack of service at swim up pool bar and other areas, appwars to be a resort issue. Sunday pm manager acknowledged issues, but we were leaving next day. Made aware through app Fri evening. We were never informed a shuttle to another beach was available due to seaweed. Other guest informed us you had to reserve the day before for certain times- we were leaving next day. Main pool at Sandals Barbados is under construction and it created a shortage making it hard to find pool chairs between the 2 resorts with beach seaweed issues. Gkad to be home! First trip to Sandals didn't compare to other vacations and resort brands. While tips are included, it has created an environment that does little to encourage great service. Appears no one tips additional much. While tips are included, tipping outstanding service is allowed, would be a suggestion in literature. Other resorts allow it and services shows. Disappointing as we were looking at othe Sandals properties. No one ever mentioned booking additional trips at a discount.

Everything about this property was amazing. The staff members were very friendly and helpful, the food and restaurant options were excellent, beach is very specious and beautiful. We will be definitely coming back one these days. We truly enjoyed our stay
