My husband and I attended this resort in March for a little getaway and it was perfect. We didn’t care too much for the food on site but it was ok cause we were close to other options outside the resort. A quick bus ride or cab and we had several options. The resort itself was beautiful. Very clean and calm which is exactly what we were looking for. We had the one bedroom suite and we loved it. It was a surprise for my husband for his bday and he fell in love. We will definitely return to this resort in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had a great time here. The staff was very attentive to our needs. We were originally placed in a first floor room and requested a room higher with a view. They accommodated us the next morning which was great. The entertainment was also great. Each afternoon or evening there was someone extremely talented musician and or singer by the pool area that elevated the experience. It’s in a great location. It was 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go.

The property was absolutely beautiful. More importantly, the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I have to give a shout out to Temar and Rosalyn as two of the most friendly, helpful, and wonderful staff we have ever met. They always made sure that we had everything that we needed, answered all of our questions with smiles and abundant patience, and helped us navigate the island.

First off, the property was very well maintained and the layout was completely impressive! The staff was so helpful and well trained as well as so courteous. The hotel is small. If you are looking for truly a relaxing getaway. The one restaurant changes menu everyday and everyday had limited but good yummy options. Beach is a few steps from the room. Some staff was super nice but a couple fely they were bored. Not to remove a whole star but the other reviews talked about sandy beaches but fail to mention it is Atlantic and not Caribbean so water is not turquoise or really swimmable. Just 15min drive uu

We visited Barbados for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and loved everything about our stay at Bougainvillea. The beachfront location, service, amenities, location, etc. were all incredible. We used public transportation the whole time and were within a 10-15 minute ZR bus ride of almost every major point of interest we wanted to visit (the Oistins fish market, west coast beaches, catamaran launch sites, and fine restaurants). The hotel’s well-maintained beach, water activities, live entertainment, etc. made our whole stay here remarkable.

This resort is amazing and very beautiful! I enjoyed my stay here for my birthday. The staff there are really nice and helpful. Immediately when you come in, the pool, the bar, and the beach is right ahead. Everyday I walked along the beach. The rooms are clean and very quiet. The staff was able to accommodate me with a 1st level room. My room had everything- microwave, fridge, couch, table. My patio had direct access to the pool area, which was nice. Next time I come to Barbados, I will stay here again at this beautiful resort with the amazing, kind staff.

This is a true relaxing oasis. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are not luxury however if you are staying in the ground floor with the pool walk out you will appreciate it. Maintenance should tend to the small roaches in the room/bathroom. This hotel is near a lot of activities as well. Great for solo family or intimate trips.

I loved loved loved my stay here! The staff were super nice & helpful. The property was very clean and the cleaning crew as well as the maintenance crew did a great job keeping up with the place. The only problem I had with this resort is there is a $150 fee for unregistered guests, per person. The fee does include the use of all the hotel amenities for the guest(s), but I do not believe it covers an overnight visit. Not only is this fee expensive it also seems highly unnecessary when we’re already spending a considerable amount being there. Regardless, I overly enjoyed myself and I will definitely be back! :)

Check-in was smooth and just when I changed into more comfortable duds the room was ready...early. I loved the room and the kitchenette was great. We were able to make breakfast every day. My only issue was that there was no tea or coffee in the room. Regarding the beach, it was beautiful but a downside was the sargassum seaweed. But on the day we left it was like someone came and deleted all of it, unfortunately it was our last day. Otherwise, everything and everyone was great, including the spa.
