“Quaint ryokan, clean and good amenities. No dinner but breakfast was delicious!”

“This hotel did not match the pictures. It has not been maintained and has some water issue causing an odd odor in the hotel. It smelled like mildew throughout. The carpet had holes and in the area leading to the dining room walls were open to the jungle behind the hotel. Staff was nice but we were charged extra upon arriving. More than 500 dollars for my son. This was not expected. I asked to leave in that case and they said they would still charge me the whole amount. Do not book this...

“Very nice small Hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the annex and had a nice room with a balcony and a lovely view.”

“I did not read anywhere that there is a curfew and you must be in your room by 2400. Also, there was a water spill in my room and also the front desk personnel need to have a little more people skills. The maid tried to open my door without knocking also, luckly I had it double bolt. Overall, for the price not a good experience. Oh and also I was charged a small hotel fee upon check out and that was not disclosed before either. ”

“There isn’t much to do nearby, so it’s really a place to relax, enjoy the onsen, eat, sleep, read, and unwind. I highly recommend booking the half-board option since there are very few dining choices outside the hotel. We had a room with a private bath, which was wonderful. However, the bedroom was upstairs, and I didn’t feel very safe using the stairs at night. I wouldn’t recommend this type of room for families with young children or anyone with mobility concerns. The food was excellent! The...
