Everything about the Tower Road Motel was just excellent. Clean & tidy, everything you needed for either a one-night stay or more. Close to Matamata for what ever you needed. It was just perfect for travelling around the whole area and I have recommended it to my friend who lives in Matamata.

The Tower Motel is in a great location, just minutes from downtown, restaurants and cafes and from all kinds of wonderful hikes as well as Hobbiton The rooms were sparkling clean and the little kitchenettes had every amenity. We would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Madamata area.

Lovely motel in the heart of Matamata. Clean rooms, easy parking, great amenities within the room, and lovely setting, including farmland, horses, and a wonderful walking path right outside the hotel. Also, very close to Hobbiton and for visiting the area around this lovely city.
