It’s a treat to stay at this restored Frank Lloyd Wright hotel. The community of Mason City show justified pride in saving and maintaining this gem. Sit in the lobby, enjoy drinks and a pool game in the lounge and soak in the atmosphere. Mason City has a number of additional attractions worth a visit.

I appreciated Carole and Nicole at the front desk. I worked more with Nicole and she is exceptional. Julie, the Front Office Manager, also was exceptional in assisting me with some business items. I stayed in the hotel 4 nights and felt at home. There is a lovely gift shop. I will definitely return and I highly recommend this classic and beautiful hotel. I was here for a high school reunion and staying at the Historic Park Inn Hotel provided a perfect environment to relax and to meet friends! Thank you!

Wonderful hotel and accommodating staff! Was there for a weekend when there was a snow storm and couldn’t leave because I35 was closed! I extended my stay and the staff were very friendly and kind. The hotel is beautifully restored and is so fun to explore all the rooms and nooks around the building. Great place!

The cover to the shower handle was pulled away from the wall, it was reported but not fixed and another room was not offered. The toilet was dirty also. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The rest of the building was very nice. The staff was very nice and friendly. The Leadlight restaurant was absolutely fabulous! Abby, our waitress, was beyond top notch! The food portions were huge and a five star rating for the food!
