“Without a doubt, one of the best camps I have ever stayed at! Mara Major camp made our visit to the Masai Mara as special and unforgettable as it could be. It’s a unique ecolodge that works closely with the Maasai community, making your stay meaningful and allowing you to directly support the local community. “The staff was extremely pleasant especially Anne, Cate and Duncan. Making sure we were always taken care of!”

“Excellent rooms and so close to the game viewing.”

“You will feel like at home with your family.”

“I've been to Mara a few times, this is truly one of the best places to stay. I believe it's a new camp - excellent location, close to the main gate but also in the nature to make it feel like you're within the park. The views are breathtaking, one of the best sunsets I've ever seen! Good, cozy vibes as well, the staff is so friendly. You're basically in the middle of the Mara nature. Also, I highly recommend the nature walk! Get to see so many animals around (we saw giraffes, zebras,...

“The staff and facilities here are wonderful. If you’re looking for a budget friendly safari, this is it. However, be prepared, there is no WiFi and the meals are limited. Other things like soda, beer, etc, cost extra. It takes some time for the hot water to come in, so start your shower about 10-15 minutes before you actually take one. You also need to book a Safari driver outside of this tented camp, which we had.”

“A brilliant place to stay. Everyone very friendly. John took us round the Masai mara we saw every thing. He really knows his stuff. The food plentiful and delicious.”
