The location is walkable to shopping and restaurants. You have complimentary happy hour in the evenings daily. Candy and refreshments in the early afternoon and discounts at local restaurants. Many add-ons we didn’t expect, the room was clean and spacious for a girls trip of three.

Hands down the best appointed and most comfortable stays my husband and I have experienced, EVER! The mid mod decor and architecture , moody milk glass lighting, plush upholstery beg you to relax and indulge yourself. It is well located. It is an easy walk to the riverfront, downtown shopping and dining, Forsyth Park, SCAD, a delightful local theater and beautiful historic homes. They make a killer omelet and the small bars tucked away throughout the property are charming. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We were only there one night but it felt like several days. We appreciated the umbrellas provided, as it rained sporadically, so we could go out on excursions. We look forward to staying here again. The Municipal Grand is luxurious, romantic and downright sexy.

A Wonderful Stay at the Marriott Riverfront! Our stay at the Marriott Riverfront was very good! We were there for a sister trip, and I had booked three rooms, all with king beds. We arrived early, so I figured we would try to check in or, at the very least, have the hotel hold our bags while we went out to grab something to eat. To our surprise, the hotel was able to check us in early! Even better, without my knowledge, they upgraded one of our rooms to a junior suite. It had a couch, TV, and dinette table, with a separate wall dividing the bedroom area. It was absolutely perfect! It gave us a comfortable, private space where we could all gather, relax, and spend time together. It really made our sister trip extra special. Every morning, we headed down to the coffee bar for our coffee, which, in my opinion, was even better than what you get at the big chain coffee shops! The hotel was clean, and all the staff members we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The only negative I would mention is that the lobby bathroom could have been cleaner. However, that did not take away from our overall experience and I would be happy to stay there again
