Good location. Short drive to multiple dining options and less than 1 hour from the Green Bank Observatory. Rooms are dated but spacious and clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The room was clean, the staff were very nice, but the pictures are a little misleading. I would also suggest having a list of restaurants available in Marlinton since there is no restaurant at the Motor Inn.

It is a bit dated, in a way, but also kind of retro. Nice sized room. Very comfortable beds. Love the real wood paneling. If we come back down there next year, we will definitely stay there again

This is our second stay at the Marlinton Motor Inn. We loved the stay. Convenient location, great rates, friendly folks. They could use some updates on the facilities, like new carpet in the rooms, new mattresses, shower curtains and bigger, thicker towels. Overall, it is a great place if you are in the area and looking for a good, locally owned place to stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved our trip there. Yes its not updated, but it was clean and made me feel like I was at home and in a by gone era. Nice size room with a table and chairs and a nice clean bathroom. I recommend them. The price is unbeatable.
