They were redoing the 1st floor hallways. What a mess. Carpets dated as was the room and the drywall tape was peeling through the room. But bed was comfy. Room was clean but a bit musty.

We had a great stay. The breakfast was awesome, our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, the front desk staff helpful and kind. If we ever visit Marion again, we will definitely stay here again.

It is an older establishment, some updating going on inside and out. Our room was in dire need of update and more thorough cleaning: carpeting, etc. Bed was comfortable, maid service changed towels only, and requested full service never happened. Too close also to a very busy second level highway. Not a great place to spend 3 nights.

This is a basic hotel just to stay for overnight for our road-trip heading to Canada. The hotel is old but the room is clean. The shower has good water pressure and the towels and linens smells clean. They have a free simple breakfast and the lady at the dining area is friendly and helpful.

The hotel was obviously under construction. The smell of paint, sheetrock , toilets in the back yard area, old furniture in the rooms, room numbers duct taped on the doors, the smoke detectors had bags on them and painters tape where obviously they were going to be painted around at some point. Staff was fairly helpful but seemed like some of them were not loving their jobs. Twice we had to go down to front desk when our door key stopped working. Breakfast was probably the best thing about our stay - had a variety of items for everyone. Air conditioning seemed to be working fine. Maybe in another 2 months it might be a hotel worth the money.
