It is a very well maintained property that is short on help and ways to keep the cricket population down. Most crickets were dead, inside and out of hotel. I think that’s just the nature of TX and should not be reflected on the property management.

The hotel was good but the a/c was not on when we arrived. Pretty sure it was over 90 degrees when we arrived and it took over 5 hrs to get comfortable. Breakfast was very limited but otherwise clean, nice hotel.

The hotel was really neat and clean and the front desk staff was helpful and very nice. The only issues we had was the light going out in the bathroom that flickered like a strobe light and the hair dryer sounded rough and then began to smoke before it quit with a loud bang. We just let the front desk know and they said they would check into those things in the room.

All the hotels in the area have been around for awhile and of the older style of hotel. This one is in pretty good shape. I have stayed at another in this town, and this one is better. Was pretty much just passing through, but my stay was very nice and the people here are great. Room was very clean and everything worked, just a little dated. I will stay at this hotel again if I come up this way again.

Room was very hot upon arrival, air conditioning didn’t work very well. No towels were let when room was cleaned. Someone stomping on floors on room above all night long. Refrigerator did not work.

The room was a suite, but the A/C was in the bedroom and did not cool the front sitting room. The room in front had a ceiling fan, but it was hot in that room. The A/C performed poorly and sounded like a carwash - constant water hitting the car sound. Next, no cold water in the sink or bath tube. I mentioned this to the desk person the next morning, and he acted like he had never heard that comment - c'mon, they had to have known.

We only stayed one night but check in was quick and easy with Nancy . She changed rooms for us at check in because I forgot to sect downstairs for my handicap wife. .she made sure we had plenty of towels as we were anxious to spend time at pool. The water was clear and refreshing. We had hotdogs and cocktails 🍹 . The parking was outside our room. We had a trailer of equipment so that was nice to look out to check up on it. The room was awesome with me Ty of space for privacy. The seperate living space with tv and coffee table was nice as I get up before my wife . I had coffee and caught up on the news without disturbing her. The ice machine worked ! Lol that’s a plus and was just outside our room . 112. In case a king room downstairs works you can request and have your ice just outside . LoLo and his wife were very kind and receptive to anything we needed. Thanks for the accommodation ! We will return . Jamie Cox and Teri Velez

Not luxurious but good place to stay. Rooms are large and I like the separate sitting area with a second tv so one person can sleep while the other stays up. Breakfast was continental (bagels, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, instant oatmeal, cereal, coffee, OJ, and there was a waffle maker with batter). I didn't try pool but it looked clean. Second time I've stayed there and I would stay again.

Stayed three nights and had contact with three different people on staff. All were very nice and helpful. Room was clean and seemed secure. Parking lot was clean and well lighted. Room was insulated pretty well in terms of sound but it is difficult to compensate for some guests who just don’t care about someone else’s stay.
