We had an amazing stay at this resort from start to finish! The property is absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and stunning views that make it feel like a true getaway. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The food was delicious with plenty of options and we loved the variety of activities available throughout the day. This resort is so well run, and it is reflected in every department. The staff at each step from the front door, to the gym, to the pool areas, the dining facilities, and housekeeping are all attentive, friendly, and service oriented. Food was consistently well prepared and served. The reservation dining areas offer some interesting and flavorful food options. Pool and private beach are fantastic. We enjoyed a restful and pleasant week at the Barcelo Karmina in Manzanillo. Thank you to all of the wonderful locals who work here.

The food was ok although the drinks were not good (at all). The service was also good (especially housekeeping and the waiting staff). Rooms were clean and so was the surrounding hotel. Beware though, we used a taxi from the hotel which we got a price quote for and by the end of the trip to the airport they had high balled our bill by 800 pesos of what we were told by the hotel.

It was my first time there recommended by one of my aunts. Amazing staff was not on us about tips as it always is in Mexico. This place was amazing. I did upgrade to premiere which was totally worth it. Best whiskey is the best Tequilas a private bar for us. It was amazing. The food all inclusive was also really good.
