Very comfortable and modern/new hotel with excellent value, comfortable rooms. Just a 10 min walk from Mannheim main station in an area that is being regenerated currently. Top tip, if you walk down platform 1 away from the station building down to the G sector end (look for the spiral P2 car park ramp) you can exit through the coach station directly to the hotel.

I've asked for a room on a lower floor, and got a lovely room on the 2nd floor. Very comfortable bed and big shower cubicle too.I've stayed in a 4* hotels and actually rate Premier Inn, better than some of the 4stars! Staff are very pleasant and helpful. 10 min walk from the Mannheim train station too, therefore convenient for early departure. Danke, grazie mille.

The usual high standard that Premier Inn always maintain. Only downside was food was not available after 9pm, suggest 10pm be the finish time, for late arrivals or late diners other than that, an ideal location to stay.

It’s ok

Hotel is what it says on the tin. Basic but comfy enough. Air con wasn’t great so poor sleep due to it being way too warm.

The staff here were all friendly and helpful - 5 stars for staff. The security and convenience of the parking garage was excellent- 5 stars. The breakfast and lobby were very good for the price - one of the best breakfasts I have ever had at a hotel. 5 stars for breakfast and lobby. The problem was the room: The room was very hot - you cannot significantly adjust the room temperature. Front desk confirmed this. I was miserably hot and could not sleep - 1 star. The curtains on the window were falling off - a 5 foot section had fallen off before our arrival and this is how they introduced us to the room. Also the beds were very soft and lumpy so no proper comfort or back support - 3 stars for the beds. Finally the “floating” night stand on one side of bed was broken and hanging down at an angle rather than flat, so between this and the large curtains hanging off of the window it just felt rundown and not cared for- it was a negative ambiance in the room.

Was a bit of battle damage on the door to the bathroom I noticed but not something that would make or break a stay here, just something for the caretaker to look at!

Clean rooms but staff member entered room in the middle of the night, highly unprofessional. No compensation offered other than water or juice. Disappointed at the service, but the rooms themselves are decent.
