Unfortunately, this was the worst holiday experience our family has ever had.
First of all, everyone in our family, one after another, got some kind of stomach infection or virus. After spending two days looking at all the cracks and dirty grout in the bathroom, I also started paying attention to how clean the plates were in the main restaurant. They were constantly covered with greasy stains and traces of previous use.
On the second day, apparently we hadn’t had enough excitement, so we decided to take our 7-year-old son to the hotel hairdresser. His birthday was only a couple of days away, so we wanted him to have a nice haircut. Everything started positively, but then something went completely wrong. The hairdresser simply started shaving the sides and the back of our son’s head with clippers, which was absolutely not what we expected. We showed him photos of the hairstyle our son wanted, and the hairdresser assured us that he could do it without any problem.
Our son started crying, and the hairdresser became nervous and started throwing his tools, cape and other things around while shouting what sounded like Turkish swear words.
We later discussed the whole incident with the guest relations department. They tried to make up for the situation by offering us a visit to an à la carte restaurant and some birthday gifts.
