The hotel was wonderful and perfect for a couple’s trip to Malmo. Would recommend and absolutely would stay again! The hotel feels luxurious and peaceful both in the rooms and throughout common areas. Particularly the breakfast area which had a fantastic selection of foods to choose from. As a vegetarian I had plenty of options, and I noticed there were also milk alternatives/gluten free options. Everything was fresh and the staff were constantly checking that foods were topped up and the area was clean and tidy. The hotel is situated perfectly to access both the train station and other areas of Malmo. The staff were really friendly and always keen to help. Truly couldn’t have had a better stay.

Great selection at breakfast both of food and drinks, restocked well by the staff. Room was great but had a few Marks on the carpet etc, nothing that affected our stay. Location is perfect for exploring Malmo on foot

Excellent location with wonderful staff! The gym and trainer options were great! The room was nice with large windows and a/c. The room could use a deep clean as dust and markings were visible along ledges and on curtains. Breakfast had plenty to choose.

Overall a great stay. Superb location. Many good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable room and excellent bathroom. Breakfast was good with a good selection but a bit busy. It’s a big hotel but some very good touches. I would stay again.

A very comfortable and well appointed hotel with excellent spacious rooms. The mood is quiet and relaxed and the breakfast, excellent. The Bishops' Arms adjoined to the hotel is a great place to sample fine beers and whiskeys in a cosy historic style pub. Would return.

Very good location in Malmø, and the breakfast has something to offer for all types. Staff is helpful and smiling, and the superior rooms are clean and of a decent size. The madras was a bit worn, but it was nice and quiet even though there is a bar next door. Parking in the basement was easy. Remember to book that in advance.

The Elite Plaza Hotel in Malmo is rated 4 stars but should really be 3 at best. The location is excellent, the gym is one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel, and the breakfast buffet is very good. However, the hotel is very poorly maintained (the paint is chipping, the furniture is very worn out in the rooms, and the carpeting is gross) and severely outdated (it’s like stepping back into the 1980s in the rooms). Additionally, the duvet cover had blood on it which was pretty gross. The front desk attendant with the mustache was very friendly and helpful. The woman who is there in the evenings was neither friendly nor helpful. Honestly, this hotel is not a bad place to stay if you can get a very good price. Otherwise, I’d avoid it and stay at one of the many nice hotels in Malmo that is better maintained.

A real disappointment on our European tour. We had booked a superior double but the room turned out to be an accessible room. It was very dark and very tired. The hair dryer did not work. It was replaced by the reception staff but only after having had to go down to reception as there were no instructions in the room for the intetnal telephone. The breakfast room was like a school canteen and the food arrangement made it particularly difficult to find what you were looking for. All in all, this hotel needs a serious makeover and unfortunately, currently deserves a poor rating.
