Beautiful old hotel in heart of Malmö

A lovely hotel just a short walk across a canal from Malmö Central Station. Check-in service was through an adjacent pub and there was no front desk. Breakfast buffet was quite good. In many respects the hotel is a gem, in a gem of a city.

Our family room was huge, quiet, and clean. It is very confusing as to where EXACTLY you go to check in. The bar tender checks you in. Our bags were safely stored at the sister property, but our reservation kept making reference to the "main building." Don't let the picture of a major staircase throw you off. There is an elevator. Other than location confusion we enjoyed ourselves.

Not really a hotel at the moment. Under construction, construction noise afternoon and morning, check-in procedures not really great, issues with the bathroom, and so forth. I understand why they want to renovate. A solid 1-star review if not for the breakfast and the friendly staff (not that they were easy to find).

Center location. Great value.

Great hotel in the center of Malmö. The room was spacious and comfortable yet, a little dated. No AC, so during summer gets a little too hot and they just provide a little fan. Breakfast was simple, but good. Note: Check in is at a different location. You actually check in at the bar around the corner (same name). We were having issues getting in the building until a guest showed up and explained this to us. Other than that, the staff was friendly and everything went great.

Check in was a disaster. Took about an hour. Maybe it was a bad day. Not a full-service hotel: no reception, no one to call about anything -- though the pricing is that of a full-service hotel. I wrote to the management to enquire. No response yet -- so I guess that also shows this hotel is "not ready". The room was nice, and the breakfast, at an adjacent hotel, was good.

Wir haben als eine 6 köpfige Familie bei diesem Hotel gebucht. Die haben uns ein „Familienzimmer“ gegeben, wo nur 4 Betten waren. Da der Check-In in dem anderen GebĂ€ude war, hatte ich ehrlich gesagt keine Lust rĂŒber zu laufen, da es zu spĂ€t war. Deswegen mussten wir 6 Personen in 4 Betten schlafen. Das war sehr unbequem.

Det var oplyst at parkering var til rÄdighed. Det var det ikke. Hotellet havde ingen reception og man skulle derfor over i en pub for check in. Lindet var beskidt og vÊrelset slidt. Service var afvisende! Ej familievenligt og oplysninger ved booking ej korrekte

Bra ekonomiskt val med superlÀge.

VÀldigt bra lÀge: nÀra centralstationen och hela centrum. Parkeringsmöjlighet i parkeri ngshus. Helt okej standard och frukost för ett billigare hotellalternativ, men sÀngarna var verkligen hemskt hÄrda! KÀnde fjÀdrarna genom bÀddmadrassen. Det var det enda minus, förövrigt var det bra!

Bra men inte mycket mer Àn sÄ

Bokade rum för 5 men fick bara 4 sÀngar, dom löste en sÀng till sÄ det vart inga problem. Otroligt varmt rum utan AC, utdaterat badrum, lite Ät det sunkiga hÄllet, toalettringar som lossnar och liknande. Otroligt dÄlig frukost, bland den fattigaste jag varit med om pÄ ett hotell. Hade kunnat vara ett suverÀnt hotell om det fÄtt lite kÀrlek, bra lÀge.

Un nuit à Malmö

Etablissement trÚs bien situé et agréable. Pour nous, c'était vraiment grand, car plusieurs immeubles. Le parking à proximité est un vrai plus. L'accueil au bar de l'hotel dans un autre immeuble surprend, mais tus c'est bien passé.
