This was an excellent hotel. Everything was clean, staff very welcoming. The food was well prepared and always fresh, and having an expansive breakfast buffet and a supper entre' with salads, etc. being included was a wonderful bonus. The room had everything we wanted and the windows of our room opened which was lovely. The location was ideal: quiet but about a 3 minute walk to Lilla Torg and 8 minutes to the Central Station. We wandered all over from our little home base, often coming back in time for the included fika. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for ECCV during my first visit to Malmö. The staff were very friendly, and the location was excellent. It was less than a 10-minute walk to Malmö C. A grocery store is right across the street, many restaurants around, and the park of Malmö Castle is also just a short walk away. Breakfast, fika, and dinner were included. Really enjoyed my stay.

Book twin but was given a double. Request to switch after one day due to uncomfortable double bed which is too soft. They should consider progressively change the bedding to a better firm yet soft bed. Window could be open is a must due to no air conditioning. In this modern times all room should be equipped with AC being Hotel standard since there are 4 seasons in a year. Toilet should be upgraded to modern as the floor and wall tiles are outdated. Especially the flooring why designer specify cobble tiles which is meant for outdoor use! More grouting means more dirt. Breakfast is good while Fika and Dinner could include more drinks and food variety to enhance the overall satisfaction. Overall a good centralised hotel to stay but more could be improved when feedback is taken for progressive change and refurbishments. All their staff are wonderful with professional Hotel Management

Good value for the money. Really nice hotel. Excellent location. Breakfast was okay. Dinner not that good, but I think we were just unlucky because it was fish fillet and it was cooked, the rest of the dinner, salat, potatoes etc was okay. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, within 15min walk of every major site in Malmö. 10min walk from the train station so easy to get to/from airport or daytrips to Lund, Ystad etc. Room was quite small but perfectly fine for one person. There was a kettle, and iron and in the bathroom the shower had the choice of regular showerhead or rainfall. A minifridge would have made it even better. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice (pics attached) for all dietary requirements. Fika was a piece of cake and hot drink at 3pm. Dinner was completely possible as full dinner so long as you eat meat or are happy with soup and salad (pic attached). I stayed for a week and only one day was the hot main fish, otherwise chicken or pork. The soup was always vegetarian, and lots of salad options too. I've stayed in Home Hotel in Bergen and they did better at including veggie options as hot main. Appreciate the food though as Swedish eating out prices are crazy, so this helps a lot. Staff are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Temperance was a lovely hotel located in the heart of historic Malmö, conveniently walking distance to the train station as well as a lot of the commercial areas of the city. The hotel has a very cozy, chic and inviting atmosphere. We visited in December and the rooms were warm and inviting – and included an airy lobby and dining area conducive to hanging out. We really appreciated the fact that they offered a buffet breakfast; afternoon fika with coffee, tea and treats; as well as a buffet dinner. The meals were well-rounded with options for dietary restrictions like vegan, lactose intolerant and gluten-free. Highly recommend!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The accommodation was excellent. The staff were outstanding—helpful, accommodating, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. The overall level of service was very high. The hotel was undergoing renovations, which was not mentioned when I booked my three-night stay. My room faced the street and overlooked scaffolding. One morning, a construction worker unexpectedly looked into my room, which was not particularly pleasant, although understandable given the renovation work. On Friday, I was also unable to keep the window open due to the ongoing construction activity directly outside. The room did not have air conditioning, which meant that when I kept the window open on Friday evening and throughout Saturday, cigarette smoke drifted into the room from people smoking on the pavement below my window. Not ideal—but certainly not the hotel’s fault. The breakfast was excellent, and the gym facilities were very good as well.

Very nice location and great interior, delicious breakfast. But I booked a double room and got a single without a window. Only after bringing this up, I got a single room with a window for ventilation. Not the double room I booked. The room was comfortable and clean, but there seems to be a lot of confusion about the bookings.
