Great location, within 15min walk of every major site in Malmö. 10min walk from the train station so easy to get to/from airport or daytrips to Lund, Ystad etc. Room was quite small but perfectly fine for one person. There was a kettle, and iron and in the bathroom the shower had the choice of regular showerhead or rainfall. A minifridge would have made it even better. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice (pics attached) for all dietary requirements. Fika was a piece of cake and hot drink at 3pm. Dinner was completely possible as full dinner so long as you eat meat or are happy with soup and salad (pic attached). I stayed for a week and only one day was the hot main fish, otherwise chicken or pork. The soup was always vegetarian, and lots of salad options too. I've stayed in Home Hotel in Bergen and they did better at including veggie options as hot main. Appreciate the food though as Swedish eating out prices are crazy, so this helps a lot. Staff are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good value for the money. Really nice hotel. Excellent location. Breakfast was okay. Dinner not that good, but I think we were just unlucky because it was fish fillet and it was cooked, the rest of the dinner, salat, potatoes etc was okay. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Temperance was a lovely hotel located in the heart of historic Malmö, conveniently walking distance to the train station as well as a lot of the commercial areas of the city. The hotel has a very cozy, chic and inviting atmosphere. We visited in December and the rooms were warm and inviting – and included an airy lobby and dining area conducive to hanging out. We really appreciated the fact that they offered a buffet breakfast; afternoon fika with coffee, tea and treats; as well as a buffet dinner. The meals were well-rounded with options for dietary restrictions like vegan, lactose intolerant and gluten-free. Highly recommend!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The accommodation was excellent. The staff were outstanding—helpful, accommodating, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. The overall level of service was very high. The hotel was undergoing renovations, which was not mentioned when I booked my three-night stay. My room faced the street and overlooked scaffolding. One morning, a construction worker unexpectedly looked into my room, which was not particularly pleasant, although understandable given the renovation work. On Friday, I was also unable to keep the window open due to the ongoing construction activity directly outside. The room did not have air conditioning, which meant that when I kept the window open on Friday evening and throughout Saturday, cigarette smoke drifted into the room from people smoking on the pavement below my window. Not ideal—but certainly not the hotel’s fault. The breakfast was excellent, and the gym facilities were very good as well.

Malmö is a lovely city and this hotel is perfectly located in its center. My single room was fairly small, but perfectly comfortable with some nice decorative touches. My only minor gripe is that there was no dedicated shower, but a shower attachment over the bath. But overall, an excellent hotel which includes breakfast, fika and dinner!!

Our room was on the interior which meant that we had no window to the outside. Normally, this is not a problem for us except that there was no air conditioning to provide cooling. The one evening that we stayed was spent in a temperature that was above our normal so our sleep wasn't as good as expected. Otherwise, the hotel and staff were great and the location is in walking distance to several pedestrian squares for shopping and restaurants.
