That said, even if all the elements are there, the customer touch points are missing. It felt like a local hotel with a bored crew who are just doing their job. “Well located and walking distance from all tourist attractions. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms might need to be renovated and WiFi did not really reach to our room. ”

“We had a very nice stay at Hotel Montecarlo. The manager, Vishnu, made sure that we had everything we needed. We were upgraded to the presidential suite, which was very spacious. A large sitting room contained a couch and two love seats and a tv and refrigerator. The bedroom also included a tv and small table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with both a shower and tub. The pool was very nice in the garden outside. We were taken care of at this hotel and would happily return.”

“The space looks great, and the overall ambience is very good. The staff were kind and respectful. However, the property needs to have better amenities - 1. We didn’t get running hot water even in the morning (it was lukewarm at best) 2. The phones in the room was only functioning half the time 3. It’s advertised as a private pool, but it’s not private at all. The pool is clearly visible to everyone walking by and maintenance and cleaning staff are going around most of the time and can see you...
