The moment you enter the property, you get a wonderful feel of a heritage property. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, and the room was beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable. The property has a lot of greenery, which adds to its charm, and the overall ambience is peaceful and relaxing. The pool view was especially beautiful and made the stay even more enjoyable. One area where the hotel management could improve is the toiletries. The use of small plastic bottles for shampoo, shower gel, etc. doesn’t really go well with the overall premium and heritage character of the property. More sustainable and elegant alternatives would definitely enhance the experience. Overall, a beautiful property with a unique heritage feel and a very relaxing ambience.

Located in Kochadai, in the heart of Madurai, the hotel’s campus is remarkably calm and serene which is an ideal setting for a family outing. The rooms were spacious, with Chettinad heritage touches woven throughout. Staff were extremely helpful and responsive; when we asked to swap our third bed for a double bed stacked on top, they arranged it immediately. The plunge pool in each room was a real highlight, and the kids loved it. On top of that, the main temple pool was well maintained and kept at a safe depth of 4 feet—perfect for children. The buffet breakfast had lot of variety and we loved the masala omelette. Highly recommend!!

Charming, cottage-style rooms with plenty of character, though not the most convenient in layout. The air conditioning was inefficient at times, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. On the bright side, the restaurant was excellent, with very courteous staff who made dining a pleasure. We only stayed one night, but it’s the kind of place where a longer stay would have been enjoyable.
