The property is in a great location. Right off of Puerto Del Sol. Close to great restaurants and shops. Our taxi picked us right out front in thr am for our flight. Rooms are tastefully decorated with amenities. French doors open to the street and plaza.

The Front Desk staff at Hotel Moderno Puerto del Sol were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Check In was very quick and easy. We love the layout of our room with a walk in closet and the washroom was spacious. The location of the hotel is fantastic, in the centre of everything and everything was within walking distance. Didn’t even need to take public transit. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends

Excellent location. Close to sights and metro/train station for use of public transit. Plaza Mayor only a couple of mins away for outdoor dining. Older hotel, so expect rooms to be a bit dated. And you can feel the vibration/noise of the subway in the rooms. We didn’t avail of breakfast - there’s a lovely cafe 10 meters away. Would stay again.

The hotel is located right next to the center of the Puerta del Sol. It is very convenient located for you to enjoy to sites the city has to offer. For you to get to the hotel, you have to walk for almost a block because the street where it is located is pedestrian and cars cannot stop at the door to the hotel.
