We had an absolutely wonderful stay at VARU by Atmosphere and couldn’t have asked for a better Maldives experience. From the moment we arrived in Malé, everything was seamless. We were warmly greeted, assisted to the waiting speedboat, and welcomed at the resort by our amazing host, Aziza. She made check-in effortless, helped arrange our activities, and personally escorted us to our magnificent overwater villa. Throughout our stay, Aziza went above and beyond, providing daily updates and ensuring every detail was taken care of. The restaurants were fantastic, especially Lime & Chilli, where we dined daily, along with memorable dinners at Charcoal & NU & KAAGE. The food and service were excellent, but what truly stood out was the warmth of t​he entire staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like family, with thoughtful touches and special treats throughout our stay. The resort also made my wife’s 50th birthday incredibly special, even decorating our bed with flowers & birthday decorations-a beautiful surprise we will always remember. A huge thank you to Aziza, management (led by Neil), housekeeper Barsha & the entire VARU team for your exceptional hospitality and for making us feel so special. Everyone was lovely and I can name a few: Barakat, Saireddy, Barsha, Deepul, Lahufaan et al...Tho I only captured a few names, the entire team deserves a kudo We highly recommend VARU to anyone looking for a truly memorable Maldives getaway. We had an amazing time, a week of sun and no rain. Very organised transfer to and from Varu via speed boat. Our room was the water suite with endless views of the sea. Good selection of food at Lime and Chili. Teppanyaki was worth the extra cost, managed to book the restaurant without sharing it with other guests. All staff friendly and welcoming. Managed to get lots of things done on the Island from star gazing, spa treatments, watching the sun rise and set!

Varu is a wonderful Paradise We arrived separately and were worried but there was no need. From pick up to last night meal everything was remarkable. Crystal water, fish, coral, sharks and rays just wow! Spectacular sunsets, beautiful weather, white sand beaches and fabulous facilities make Varu a must stay.

We love our stay at Varu. All the staff are extremely friendly. They started remembering our drink preferences after a day or two and are very attentive. Our room is always clean with great view. The water villa are on higher walkways so they do not recommend for younger kids but they were able to set up an extra sleep space for our son. We also appreciate the comprehensiveness of their all inclusive plan, including all food, drinks, alcohol, spa, excursion and water activties. We did not have to spend a lot extra to have a great experience.
