So here's my take on the place: VERY clean room, bathroom, bedding and fresh towels. AC is powerful. For some reason the front desk had higher bulletproof glass security than most bank drive-thrus. Staff at front desk are very friendly and helpful. But the rooms don't have a phone or even a clock. So make sure you have their front desk phone number stored into your phone. The outlet by my bed had surge issues so it shouldn't be used for electronics. Swimming pool is only 4ft deep but very clean and nice and warm. Morning buffet is surprisingly well stocked and stops at 9:30am. You can even make your own omelette and fresh waffles. Also no rooms are carpeted and neither are the hallways. Be sure to take a Google Maps satellite look at its location. It's at the end of a large landfill and is not walkable to anything - at all. It's also right along a highway. It's very affordable compared to everything in that city. Bottom line, they treated me well and my sleep was comfortable. Just expect it to be very minimalist.

The check in process was easy and the staff was super nice. I usually stay at 4 or 5 star hotels so this was a stretch for me. I was not disappointed. It's not fancy but it's clean. The beds are firm, the floors are not carpeted but very nice and the room was a good size with a Refrigerator.

Amazing hotel for an even better price

The outside of this hotel and the location might be unattractive. But the rooms and size of the hotel was amazing. Breakfast was great had eggs, omelets, waffles, pancakes, fruit, sausage, cereal I mean just about everything. The staff was great as well.

Room had been renovated so it was clean and comfortable, had lots to offer for breakfast, far more than the continental breakfast indicated in the listing. Hotel itself is located on the other side of the highway from town with very poor access to anything. Nearest restaurant or gas station is several miles away, even the highway access ramp was over a mile. Outside of the hotel and area looked like a war zone, in serious need of a major cleanup and repairs. Inside looked much better than the outside, it had some repairs and upgrades completed and others underway. The sign did not display the correct hotel name making it difficult to spot.

The breakfast at this hotel is unmatched. Omelets, waffles, pancakes, fruit, toast, bagels, biscuits and gravy are all literally available. The property is also quiet and safe, and relatively close to most of Madison. My go to stay whenever I'm in the Madison area.
