The hotel was lovely and well located just outside of the down town area. We truly enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the afternoon and evening watching the horse drawn carriages go clip-cloping by. .

The setting is great, the historic nature of the building inside and out is so fitting for a visit to Mackinac Island, the staff was friendly, continental breakfast was a nice little perk, and the outdoor spa pool was great! So relaxing, clean and comfortable.
