I’ve been a Golf Professional for 33 years and have been blessed to stay at quite a few nice places. Can’t say enough wonderful things about Pleasant Farms. It’s a beautifully landscaped, peaceful bed & breakfast environment, surrounded by pure country; the property having a rich history dating back to post Civil War America. The family that constructed it are pure gems, even using the honor system for simple amenities..

No contact check in, yet was greeted warmly by hostess explaining everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet place! In the area with my mother and daughter to spread my father's ashes where he loved to fish (dugger/ wampler lake area)for years. What an unexpected find. Daughter so enjoyed your(WELL!) stocked catch and release pond! Sure hope to get the opportunity to come stay again!!

It’s quiet, well maintained grounds with beautiful flowers. The inn is decorated beautifully by the seasons and the rooms are very clean. The manager is helpful with anything you might need. It’s a great place for a weekend retreat.

Beautiful property. The inn was spotless and very cozy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed a few nights to go birding at the nearby Goose Pond Wildlife Area. There are plenty of places to eat at the town of Linton, a few miles from there. We will return soon.

Phenomenal Inn!

This was a lovely Inn. We stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer. The rooms are comfortable, immaculate and so cozy. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained. Beautiful flowers everywhere and large decks/porches with rocking chairs to enjoy. The beds were soft and the showers were huge. Will definitely be returning.

If you want to get away and truly enjoy fresh air and a night sky, this is the place! Beautiful rooms that feel like home. I even fell in love with the cat that joined me for my morning coffee on the back patio.

Wonderful Escape

I dont normally write reviews but had to for this gem. This is a really excellent hotel for a get away. Just built in the last 5 years but had the decor and feel of a colonial house. Nice touches such as water, drinks and snacks in the room and foyer. Wonderful grounds with over 2 miles of walks. Highly recommended.

Ours was a quick visit, we arrived late (11pm) and left early (7am). When we arrived there was a Welcome envelope for me with information on their beautiful grounds along with the code for our door. We made a pot of coffee when got up and sat out on the deck for a while, it was a wonderful wakeup. If ever in the area again we would definitely stop back in.
