I would highly recommend this hotel as the price is incredible for the location so close to the station, great air conditioning and very comfortable. You do get what you pay for so important to manage your expectations as there is no coffee facility in room but there is a coffee machine in the lobby and the rooms are small but we were happy with that as spent our days out. It would be great if there was a couple of benches at the side of the hotel so you can sit outside at times as the restaurant wasn’t open in the afternoons. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and we would be happy to stay there again. It also felt very safe. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great to have a carpark in the hotel. It simplifies the arrival and it's close to the city centre. Great area full of eatiries and a great bar/pub/coffee shop in front which was very handy. Also 2 supermarkets around the corner. Enjoy Lyon!

Helen, the administrator at customer service desk/lobby was very kind and the most helpful! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly as well. Hotel is right beside the main railway station and the all types of rental car service companies. Location is very good and convenient. The room was very clean and quiet. Pillows and mattresses were all comfortable and clean.Sheets were clean. Somehow, there was no toilet paper for 2 out of the 3 days of stay. Tea and coffee were also missing for 2 out of 3 days of stay. The coffee vending machine at the lobby was not working properly. Water from the water dispenser at the lobby was not giving out the cold water and the bubbly water as advertised.

The front staff were very nice. The rooms are just what you need for a one night stay. Very convenient to the train station and many eating establishments. The shower could use some renovation. The bed was comfortable for a decent sleep. It was nice to have a window that opened, we could not figure out how to get the AC unit to blow cold air. Overall, decent hotel for the price.

Rooms are clean, breakfast service is excellent. One female staff is particularly helpful at the reception desk, another female staff was ok. But two male staff were not that excellent. One was a bit cold but still helpful but the other one of African descent wearing glasses was kind of devious trying to “con” me into staying a tiny bedroom even after I have paid for the change of the hotel room online already.

I was a bit disappointed when I first went in, since the pictures is much nicer than actual place. The first room, there might be a sign of bed bug, for the mattress was yellow with black dot. But the stuff there is nice and he give me another good, which is clean. The room is small, simple, where too simple there not even hair dryer.

Room was ok. I had a view over the rooftops to the cathedral in the old town which was nice. Cheaper than many in that area of Lyon and close to train station, which I wanted. It was in need of a makeover though. No nice touches in the room, just very rudimentary. The sheets didn’t really fit the mattress. Tge shower door and shower head needed fixing.

Room was small, but clean and quiet. Common areas (reception, elevators, hallways) are dirty and feel unsafe. I kept a chair in front of the door at night as a precaution. Restaurant next door for breakfast was excellent and friendly. Neighborhood is gritty and very urban; homeless people, feces, stink of urine. Location close to central train station offered convenience. Bottom line: cheap but safety was concerning.
