Lovely hotel, well placed to enjoy all that Lyon has to offer. Modern, clean and well equipped. The bedroom was a good size and the hotel has good sound-proofing. Breakfast was excellent with standard hotel offerings plus some local produce. Located a short distance from the banks of the Rhône in the new town, we were able to access everywhere on foot easily and, while the old town may be more photogenic, it can feel a bit touristy; we preferred being slightly outside and eating where the locals ate. Would be happy to stay there again in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Easy reach of both the station and the town centre. The Tram-Bus T11 goes from 1 block away into Presqu'ile and Old Town in 2 or 3 stops (under 5 mins). It's 5 mins walk to the River and few mins more across the bridge to the town centre. It's also 5 mins walk from the famed Les Halles market where you get anything to eat or drink. Yes, it's a bit dated, with a few scuffed walls and chipped furniture, but understandable for somewhere that's probably getting refurbished soon. Lots of people have commented about the Pool online, but for me, there IS a pool, it's open from 7:30 to 9pm every day, the temperature is fine, and the size is approx 6m X 2.5, enough to do short laps.

Nice hotel og very friendly staff. The breakfast was very good and the fitness area was a nice facility. We were looking forward to enjoy the pool, but it was quite cold and smaller and than we expected from the photos. The parking was quite expensive, 28 euros per day. We had the electric car slow-charged here, which was nice. We would stay here again another time :-)

Due to an extraordinary power outage, which the hotel of course could not be blamed for, our stay ended up being rather curtailed and unusual. The staff handled the crisis situation reasonably well, but it also became clear that this large hotel is in need of some refurbishing. A tired air‑conditioning system, worn bathrooms, and emergency lighting that switches off after ten hours do not make up for the fairly spacious rooms and good location.

Old but well kept hotel. There is a big supermarket just next door, there are a lot of restaurants in walking distance and the city center is around 10 minutes on foot. I would not expect the car park to be more than double the price of a city center public parking space, so plan and book accordingly.
