A wonderful experience

Excelent service, staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel is not new, but still very well preserved. Room service did a wonderful job with all my requests. Food there (room service and restaurant) was also great. I truly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

Room was clean and well presented, although bathroom was dated and showing signs of age. Hotel used by companies to house staff and workers either leaving or entering country; as such check in was mayhem with 50+ people from a company trying to check in. Took me over 30 minutes before I could be checked in . Same issue with buffet dinner with too many people for the size.

The hotel & rooms are clean & decent, food is good too. The only thing I did not really appreciate was the fact that the hotel does not provide ironing board and iron, even upon request. This is a basic amenity provided by most hotels and is expected from a hotel room worth US 200+ per night.

Horrible value for money

This is the worst value-for-money I've had in a hotel (and I spend 100 nights/year in them) since last time in New York (NY is always at the bottom of that list....). It has a completely useless key system which gets one repeatedly stranded without possibility to get anywhere. I had to have my card reprogrammed 3 times in 12 hours and STILL it din't work properly. The tea/coffee service in the room offers decaf coffee (also known as non-coffee), and some fruit and herb drinks called tea (no black tea at all). There was no hot water!!!!! A hotel costing 300 USD/night+ that gets the hot-water temp to around 25 degrees (C)???? Deplorable. Further to this, the AC worked poorly in the room, I am not an AC nut so I normally set mine to around 24 C. In order to get the room to go below 30 I eventually had to dial in 17, which was also rock bottom..... Oh - and the toilet didn't flush properly! I believe the overall verdict can only be: STAY AWAY!
