Loved the architectural style, antique furnishings and very friendly staff. Had the “Hot Brown” for dinner upon approval and our server gave us the history of the hotel and the Hot Brown. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Enjoyed chatting with staff regarding notable past guests like celebrities and musicians. Would definitely stay here again should we return to Louisville.

I highly recommend staying at the brown, it’s a lively busy hotel. We were going to a concert at the mercury ball room, very quick walk and a lot of food options within walking distance. Had room service from the safe for breakfast it was great.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful history and the staff is very friendly. We noticed many of the staff have worked there for years and have a strong sense of pride in the hotel. They love to share the history of the hotel and show off the beautiful rooms. I recommend you have a drink at the bar and of course the Hot Brown is a must to complete your stay.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the people go above and beyond to help you during unusual circumstances. My wife is a patient at Norton hospital near there, and the staff went out of their way to make sure that the hotel was a comfortable haven while we coped with an out-of-town caregiving challenge.
