This hotel is conveniently located, walking distance to Santa Monica beach. I was upgraded to partial ocean view king bed room. The rooms are the bathroom were very clean, although shower head needs to be different in my opinion. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.

Lovely hotel. The staff are very helpful in providing suggestions for dining and activities. The room was well appointed. I wish there was a real balcony. The rooms have doors that slide open to a gate, but not a balcony. The hotel is conveniently located near the Santa Monica Pier and other attractions.

really great hotel in an amazing location. Only a few blocks to the beach. The restaurant is really good. Parking is a bit too expensive but this is LA. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay here, and would not hesitate to come back. It's a very fresh, cool boutique hotel, with a super short walk across the street to the beach and 10min from the Santa Monica pier. Staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. We only did 1 afternoon at the pool(s) which are small but clean and totally fine. Outdoor bar is lovely. Our room was spacious, with a beautifully updated bathroom and ocean view. Absolutely loved it!

Other than our server at breakfast, staff was helpful and friendly. We had a lovely partial ocean view and the room was in pristine condition with contemporary decor. we were in town to help my son move so we did not have time to use any of the amenities. We parked at his place as the hotel only offered valet parking at a high daily fee. Location was great and walkable. Lots of great restaurants close by. We did eat one breakfast at the hotel and although the food was good, the service was terrible. It wasn’t very busy and our server never came back to our terrible to check in on us or to fill our water or coffee. He did add a 20% tip and an additional 5% service charge. So many better breakfast places nearby including Urth Cafe that we really enjoyed and sat on the back patio.

The 43.00 dollar a night surprise charge when checking in for the amenities, not worth it. There were two bikes that you could use for 4 hours, for everyone in the hotel, 2 bikes. We didn’t get to use them. So you are paying for something that isn't really there. The other amenity was beach towels you could ask for to take to the beach. We didn't go to the beach. Another amenity water. You can ask the front desk for a water bottle that they keep behind the front desk. I asked for 2 and they said “i’ll check” as if 2 at one time was too much for my 43 dollars a day. We stayed 3 nights and spent 129.00 for 8 water bottles.
