The Aster has an antique European feel to it and the decor is lovely. Even though we didn’t eat at the hotel, we went up to the 5th and 6th floors to walk around. The restaurant looked beautiful and the rooftop area was very nice, but the rooftop bar was closed at the time. Parking was easy and the valet workers were nice. The front desk staff and housekeepers were friendly. The only reason I rate it 4 stars rather than 5 is because the carpet in our room needed a deep cleaning.

We had such a good stay at The Aster! They upgraded our room when we got there, and it was seriously so nice—huge, beautiful, and super comfortable. We slept great, actually got to relax, and just really enjoyed our whole trip. Would 100% stay here again!

Great hotel, staff super friendly, the rooms are huge and clean. The only downside is the noise coming from outside in the wee hours of the morning - fire trucks, police cars, hot rods, motorcycles. You hear them all - not sure why it happens in this location but it does. The hotel left us ear plugs on the nightstand and I now understand why they do that. But if the noise wasn't an issue, I would be coming back for sure.

This hotel was super clean and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Their pool area was well kept and very nice if you want to have a coffee outside in the morning. We truly loved everything about this hotel (the room, the shower pressure, the service) except for the noise -- we were on the 4th floor and could hear raves happening nearby both nights that we stayed (the noise stopped around 1:30am each night). Not a huge deal for us because we didn't need to get up early, but this could be less than ideal for others.

Beautifully redone historic building with modern amenities. We booked a poolside suite, which was massive and well laid out. All that said the service was lacking for the price. On our way in we were offered bell hop service, but I ended up rolling our cart up 45 minutes later because it was still in the lobby and we had to get ready for our night. After dinner we called the front desk for a hypoallergenic pillow, and had to call two more times before it was delivered nearly two hours later.
