Staff was very friendly, property was clean and the bed was comfortable. I’ve stayed before at this property and it’s convenient to Hollywood Blvd and the metro station. This is where my cousin and I stay when we do our Universal Studios trips

Very basic room but all the essentials. Check in is a bit strange as you don’t talk to the person 5ft away at the desk but someone on a tv screen (couldn’t tell if real or AI) as you scan passport / ID docs. Overall, fine stay & good location for Hollywood blvd.

Overall, a fine place to stay for the price and location. The area was busy and lots of trash and people roaming the streets at all hours of the night. Room was clean and priced fairly for the area. Very loud in the mornings with guests and security radio noises. Parking pass is $30 per day and needed to be renewed each day. It would be easier to buy a pass for the whole trip rather than each day. Good place to stay for a short trip and if you have plans in the area.

We did have bug in our room. Also the towels were very crusted and hard. The front office staff was rude when I was struggling with the auto check in machine. Location is super convenient.

We picked this location based on it's proximity Hollywood Bowl. It was within easy walking distance. As we were walking to our event and as we passed all of the cars stuck in traffic, we were happy with our decision to stay at the Motel 6 and walk. We were close to the main Hollywood attractions and I would not hesitate stay there again if we attended any other events in the area.

It was fine. I think if you’re using it as a crash pad it’s great. I ended up spending a lot of time in the room journaling and reading to get out of the heat. Air con works. TV is just cable. Convenient area.

My stay had some positives, but there were significant issues. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent for exploring the area. However, the new automated check-in system was frustrating and inefficient; the audio quality was poor, and we ultimately needed assistance from front desk staff anyway. Regarding the property, it appears run-down and could definitely be cleaner. Additionally, while the location is central, the immediate area on Hollywood Boulevard has changed significantly. It feels quite dirty and has become a bit of a tourist trap. It is also frustrating that celebrity events in the area often block off access to the public, making the neighborhood feel inaccessible to the average visitor.

This was basically the middle of it all, very close to the main parks, walk of fame, delcious food, and anything else you might need, say from a drug store or even a target. The crew here are awesome, rooms are clean, no bed bugs which is always important. Defiinitely recommend.

I want to give an honest review to set the record straight. This is a good place for a short stay near Hollywood Blvd and the Hollywood Bowl. The beds are firm and pretty comfy. Pillows are sufficient. Shower pressure is decent. It’s a very close walking distance to the boulevard. However, the floors needed a good washing as they would make your socks dirty, so bring hotel slippers. I exterminated a small cockroach (local LA problem) when we checked in. We never saw another one, but that needed to be said. The walls are also very thin and you can hear the neighbours if they’re being rowdy. I visited on the weekend of Halloween and could hear my loud neighbours who had been out partying. I guess the trick is to fall asleep first. Even as a Motel 6, the only amenities were two bars of soap and a mini fridge in the room. The coffee room is open from 6 AM to 10 AM and they do not have decaf coffee. It’s a cheap stay for a short trip, but I would not stay here for an extended period of time.

Pros: convenient location to Hollywood area attractions, Griffith Observatory, and exploring town. Walkable to tons of restaurants. Property was in decent condition and fairly clean for this price range. Cons: parking around the area at least $30 per day, streets around the area are pretty dirty and stinky.
