What a great quick stay at The Valorian. I was impressed before check in even with the help of their amazing concierge, Jason. He was super helpful with recommendations and helping with a surprise for the room. While staying there Angel at the front desk was amazing! Thank you both. Room exceeded expectations. Bed super comfortable. We look forward to staying again!

Pros: Room size - 10 out of 10., great location for getting around the city. Nice views. Car Service. Cons: Only 3 towel sets when we arrived in a room with 2 beds and 4 people, room phone didn't work, no ice machines on the floors so had to call the hotel for delivery, house keepers were just ok - nice, but didn't restock fully so kept having to ask for things: towels, washcloths, coffee, cream and sugar, it's party central on the weekends. Will stay again, but do hope the easily fixable things are taken care of.

The room was clean. My problem is the hotel seems to be losing the charm it once had since it has been taken over by Hilton. This was my 3rd stay at the property and unfortunately my least favorite. I hope they can restore the charm as well as remodel and update some of the hotel.

The hotel was amazing. It’s in a great location with multiple cafes and restaurants around for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were pleasant to deal with. The amenities were good, however no breakfast was available on site so would need to go to a nearby cafe for breakfast. The pool is beautiful with city view, however this was closed for the majority of our stay due to refurbishments. I will definitely be returning to this hotel on my next visit to LA.

The pool closes at 5:30pm every day. Totally unacceptable for a $400 a night hotel with $75 valet. The decor is of questionable taste, in a very unsoothing and jarring pallette. Room was comfortable, but the mini bar was ridiculous. The jar of gummy bears was $22. I mean general rule of thumb is minibar is 3x retail.... The tiny jar held $3 worth of gummies so a 7x markup. The Andaz, sun rose, even the Ziggy are better choices. Also, there is no business center, so I had to have my online meeting in the hotel room at 7 am (9 am home time zone) while my friend tried to sleep. For such a ln overpriced place it sure is missing some essential touch points and level of comfort items. The breakfast parfait was good but the bowl had a texture on the bottom... One of the many questionable choices that the design team made in that hotel

The Mondrian had some struggles after covid, but noticed an increase in cleanliness and service during this stay. I hope they keep it up. They always have cool events here - it’s a really special property given the location and views. The restaurant is a lot of fun too.

Highlights from my stay: the room was clean and spacious I’d recommend the King balcony suite for solo or couple travelers, complimentary guests passes to Equinox are such a great perk, the restaurant Casa Medrano is fantastic and has a great happy hour at the bar the service there is incredible, great ambiance - plus the food and drinks are excellent.
