Level was well located for our visit to USC. The area felt safe. The cost was exceptionally reasonable. The rooms and kitchen were minimally appointed but spacious. We would not return however, as the showers were lukewarm with difficult showerheads.

For the price I would recommend just staying at a hotel chain (unless you need the kitchen). The first 2 rooms we were offered were both not clean. It seems the hotel isn't being maintained well overall (damaged cabinets, shower heads falling off etc). However, the pool is nice and the sauna is great and the coffee/wine bar downstairs is awesome. Gym looked good. Overall though, I would not stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

Room was clean, had a bit of dirty water washer smell on pillows, curtains smelled a little of dog pee, TV in room cut off whenever it felt like it, only one roll of toilet paper for 4 days. Other than that very spacious, pots, pans silverware, coffee maker, toaster everything you needed to cook, washer & dryer in unit was convenient. Close to drug store, grocery store, restaurants & coffee shops. Outdoor pool was clean, lots of cabanas, had a rack for clean pool towels but of course when I go there are no towels available. Steam room didnt work too great.

The suite itself is good, lots of room and a great view. There was a trash bag full of trash on the balcony, the restroom floors felt dirty, and the shower wasn’t the cleanest. The staff at check in was a bit rude as they mistakenly assumed we had more guests staying in the room, they explained we couldn’t have more than 4 people in the room, in a condescending tone, then corrected to 6 because we had booked the 3 bedroom suite.

As always, my family and I had a wonderful stay at the Level. The suite is so perfect for our needs with the full kitchen and w/d, the amenities are excellent and well maintained. Probably one of the best parts of the stay are the helpful staff. Big shout out to Isiah and Johnny at the front desk who dealt with the issue of the broken window blind by upgrading us to another suite and to manager Hadi for also dealing with some other requests. Will always choose the Level when we are in LA!
