I love this place to stay when visiting my college student. The staff is amazing and the hotel is located in walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. Sometimes the floor is a little dirty and maybe some of it needs a bit more loving but it just adds to the experience.

Time travel to early 20th Century. Very clean, cozy, and quaint. Super friendly staff. Super cheap. Walking distance to everything “cool” in Historic Downtown Long Beach. Not for the weak of heart or fair constitution. You have to like “urban” and be open minded. The Murphy bed was comfy!!

Staff was great, rooms were basic and very small but fine for a festival weekend. Ac worked great and bed was more comfortable than it looks. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and plenty of street parking. Felt safe walking through the area late at night after the festival.
