Great location, close to shopping and dining options. As a single traveler, I felt safe although there was a homeless person out front one morning (it’s Los Angeles so that is not an unusual site). Room was clean but dated. Mattress was not very comfortable and the bedding left a lot to be desirable. That was the only negative aspect though which is why the 4 stars.

It is a very nice property and I hope my experience was the exception and not the rule. I called the front requested extra towels and they never came. The a/c in the room stopped working in the middle of the night and it was extremely hot in the room which made it impossible to sleep. When I spoke to the staff about it there was just a forgetful sorry and moved on. I was only there one night and because I made this trip often I was thinking this would be my hotel of choice, however, this was definitely disappointing because of the poor customer service.

I loved to stay there, but only downside was about staffs. I was trying to extend one more night at the front desk, but they asked me to book through online. As someone who also works in the hotel industry, I understand why they gave that answer, but it felt like they were simply putting the matter off when there were actually ways to handle it. It may be a small thing, but I wish the staff had taken a more proactive approach.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed by Corrina who remembered me the second time she met me. Very nice gym with lots of dumbbells. Breakfast was good. Make sure you add a breakfast for $10 to your room instead of paying the menu price. Dinner was mediocre.
